It really would be nice if we could tell what the jobs and trainings we don't have unlocked affect. Some jobs may be very nice, while others are crap, but we can't tell because we don't know what they affect.
Tip for Baconator2 (probably the first as well): With a fully upgraded Roast, explode your first one inside the Baconator, but close to the units. You'll get the full blast of the Roast, the bomb, and its rockets, while also setting off a chain for the units anyway. And you should get enough to fire off another one inside it later.
Something really needs to be done about shield bash.
Later on, every fight with a front line shield enemy always results in endless blocking and just drags on because you can't hit anything. Pretty much the only way to get anything done is have a shield of your own using Protect and blocking so that counterattacks will hit, and someone else continuously using Throw until you're finally lucky enough to land a hit.
The chance to hit desperately needs to properly reflect the effects of blocking. Had streaks of 10 or more misses on an "80% chance" because of shield bash spam.
Enemies have way too much head armor all the time.
Heads are already hard to hit, and no better at killing them than the body except for a slightly lower amount of health on the head, which is counteracted by how messed up limbs cause torso bleed.
Decapitations later on are a complete chore because of the ridiculous amount of head armor, combined with the low hit rate and the always-present shield bash spam.
The Tarsus achievement "Win a combat without losing a gladiator" is bugged. I have won several times here without losing anyone and it hasn't given me the money.
Cure is awful. Heals like 14 health when my torso has 324? Lame. And no, I don't have "99%" of my health still, I'm nearly dead. Presumably the problem is that it tries to spread it around your body, when you rarely need it for anything but 1 zone.
Paladin+Mage=Easy Mode.
Massive AoE casts from the Mage with infinite MP, healing, and rezzes from the Paladin. Plus, Pally can use Quake for more AoE.
Ugh had a hacker with exterminator, jetpack, 2 armor, and shields in random mode.
Only way it could've been worse would be if he had an assault rifle (had a pistol).
Talk about jack shit you can do to kill something.
HIGHLY effective tactic, especially in shadowbuilds:
Mass a large number of blasters with full energy (mortar support too if there's some good deep zones to take the heat off) then rush them all straight at an emitter that doesn't have support from other emitters (mortars are useful there). They will overpower the creeper already present and then will have the energy reserves to cap the emitter long enough for you to get a collector chain to it.
March 27 all green, all capped, 30:40.
...which means you can take him down with (drumroll) a drone rush!
