Somewhat better deficit management: Disable build and artifact spending (leave bullets on) in order to try to get some energy stockpile without sacrificing your defenses. Keep the mouse on the build button when you turn it back on, however, to make sure you don't hit 0 and start losing bullets and thus other structures.
Last (non-unlimited) level is ridiculous. Can almost beat it as sniper, but so many stupid box mines are littered everywhere and it's impossible to hit the stupid shield turrets that are spammed everywhere on the last wave.
@erickssmith: More likely than not, that's due to your keyboard, and not the game. Keyboards can only take a certain number of commands at once, but can take even less than normal with certain key combinations that depend on the keyboard.
Flamethrower + Ballad of Balance is bugged. It only does damage based on the highest hit from Flamethrower, rather than splitting what would've been the combined total, so it often does less damage to every target than it would have without Balance.
One useful improvement would be to make it so that when Elweyn plays music, she gets AP each turn instead of only getting it when you activate it. Granted, you can activate it every single turn with no difference and get the AP, but since it defaults to Wait and anything other than playing the music again will cancel it, you should just get the AP each turn it's active.
Also, separate lines should be considered independent of each other for targeting purposes, especially when the points near each other are vastly different in terms of where they are on the line. Really terrible when workers covering both lines pretty much completely ignore 1 line because the other one is closer to the exit.
Or at the very least have specialty workers ignore the different distance targeting if they see something they're good at doing. Except packers. They're fast enough at packing to pretty much always get it if they so much as look at one.
Some of the money making stars are completely ridiculous. Like the one for the level 6 survival. I play it normally and I get half of the coins needed.
Most of the levels I could largely figure out how to get through via trial and error, but the last level I had to plan out how to get there and be able to get out. Took a while :/
All around good, just one problem I have: The higher number weapons are often quite difficult to switch to without using the mouse, since your hand is stuck on the left side of the keyboard for WASD. A weapon cycle button (say, Q and E) or a "last weapon" button would help immensely.
Would've been nice to know that you get all the loot below your total treasure chest count thing. Many games I tried to minimize the treasure chest usage in order to get the spell, and now I notice that you actually get them all. To fix that, you should just say at least how many you need, instead of giving a range for it when the upper end of it is meaningless.
All quests can be completed. Try to go to upper right corner after stage begin. You can find here extra money ) Every stage contains such extra money.
