Dolphins and outer space, two great tastes that taste great together! It took me a while to get the hang of the controls, but I love this game now. Highest point reached: Nebulous!
Whooo, I'm not used to both WASD and the D-pad at once! :P Good hand/eye coordination workout. Finally got 134 on the round that got me the hard badge!
Ha, I kept trying to fly backwards like in Starfighter...also: Being able to buy missiles in the starbase shop would be nice; there are a lot of missile upgrades for something you can only use after unreliable drops.
The option to turn off the floating damage numbers and the airborne-units effect would be nice. Sending units flying ass-over-teakettle is a nice gimmick at first, but when you get to the point in a battle when every other unit's attack does that, the game slows down and it's difficult to see what's going on. Not like microing is needed here anyway...
Why is the select-facing option given after moving when characters forget after attacking? Also needs a load/return to main screen link, and some way to speed up battles...eliminate XP popups, etc.
I like getting permanent non-shufflable upgrades from actions in the game! Adds more goals to maps.
I don't like having to replay maps for experience. What is this, Epic War? Agh.
Otherwise...nice to see another installment of Protector!
