My gripe with this is the fly in the fish bowl puzzle. It's time consuming since there's little you can do to speed up the process. My second gripe is in part 3. Though it was my favorite part, I'm also one of those that hate slide puzzles. They are a challenge, but it was only a 3x3, thanks for keeping it simple. Part 4 is nice, I also hate it, but nice. Always dislike puzzles that take up time when you know the solution... I'm looking at you fish bowl.
After many ascensions, Cid the Helpful Adventurer had not been hired under my legion. Remembering what Cid had done for me, I begin a ritual that will hopefully bring Cid happiness. "To my Most Helpful Adventurer, you have started my endless journey, found friends I would have never met, and brought my companions to riches never imagined. I send you my thanks in the form of gold. Should you wish to find us, send word and well find you." Cid read the letter along side the large sack of gold that was merely a portion of what is kept in a bank of a city. Cid thought "I have never met this person, why did he send me such a large amount of gold?" So began Cid's journey to find our never ending travels, and witness our grand journey to far lands once more.
"Oh man they're wiping us out. I knew I should have used the scroll." I said as I watched my army become decimated, even the four minotaurs could not hold against a hundred swords. As the last man fell with a dying breath, a hydra burst forth into the battlefield with a mighty cry, ripping apart the enemy with it's many heads. "I am starting a religion for hydras."
50 Years is one of those games I didn't even know I wanted. I really liked it, and loved watching my minotaur decimate the playing field. A news refresh button would be nice as returning to the home hub removes all info text.
Wow, really guys? I thought this was gonna be the same rehash but with some new stuff like silly animations and cool new and interesting combos. I really would have liked simple stuff like that. But you went ahead with micro transactions. sigh. Well I did expect that when you had developed the apps. To those that don't understand why there are complaints about Doodle God, the game's been out for a long time, free and no transactions. It just missed all the needless things it currently has. Now I can stand games with micro transactions, what I can't stand is when the game literally STOPS me from playing the game. The whole artifact thing would have been alright had it not been forcefully been introduced.I decided to look up a walk through and discovered that "Hey guess what? For solving this puzzle, you get nothing!" It makes the whole artifact system pointless and annoying. This rolled off my table of interest due to it's small but very noticeable gripes. Scroll locking would be nice.
Fun little game but it definetly needs some closure at the end. It's a nice feeling having a little flight with your friends. Though, I would like to know why some hills feel grumpy.
Encountered a bug: Using the Flare Gun causes the game to freeze frame by frame. Can be reversed by resetting the level. Honestly this game was okay for 5 minutes, it dragged on too long and I just wanted the badge. Long gameplay is good, but it can't feel like wasting time. The truck driving was good, but getting stuck ruins it. Having 3 more screens of truck driving? ugh. Enemies fire at you from off screen, unfair. Also, enemies have eyes behind their heads. After a certain stage melee weapons stopped working, really disappointing. 2.5/5, tolerable.
HA HA HA HA "Your son was killed by bandits..." 20 gold reward. Officially the worst dialogue and I haven't even been through 2 minutes. Yeah, can't do it. Review of 2 minutes, Gameplay feels okay! Music, okay! Story and Dialogue, can't handle it! DEN OUTTA DEN
I can't take any of this seriously, the English isn't spot on and emotes are used to show how they feel? Yeah, no. Golden Sun may use emotes, but the timing is done properly. You're just shoving it in and it makes them have less emotion. Also, a forced tutorial? Yeah, no. This was honestly one of the worst start ups in my history of flash games.
Jumping on the train here, option for simple or no animations please. Additional upgrades for skills weren't explained. Multi row battles are unfair, there are no penalties for the back row and they can act. It's a good game, but feels too slow to feel invested in. Nothing pulls me in to keep playing, no story, character backstory, a connection to the player. I can play puzzle games with no story, but if it has "characters", they need to "exist". It's a cool place with the hub as a tavern, but it's a shame to see no life within the world.
Pretty darn broken, get on it man. Going to upgrades, to menu, then play causes me to replay the same level than bring me to the next one or level select. Also the song not changing after beating the level indicates that you will play the same level. You probably already know but mute bug anyway. It's a good game, though definitely needs an auto fire, no mouse breaking man.
This game is so rad and I'm sad it took me this long to notice it. So much praise is coming out right now and I don't need to say it. Everything is rock solid. Nice job guys. At times I thought it should have a "drop through platform" ability, but it's nice that it doesn't have it. Going through it a little more though the XP pop ups should be disabled as it's not necessary when your level is maxed. Though the pop ups are nice, they should be replaced with encouraging words like "awesome" or inward advertisement, "BERZERK!" Goes to show that simplicity is just as challenging as complexity.
Game has potential and can be improved in many spots. Hotkeys would be nice, 1234 for items, qwer for soldiers, space to end turn to keep controls on one hand and mouse on the other. Feels slow when I need to use the mouse for everything. Not much incentive for buying gear when it has drawbacks. Perhaps a mastery system that every mission you go on with that gear reduces penalties? It's a little annoying to be unable to see the status of allies and nearby enemies when you can only check them if you have AP. Honestly doesn't feel like a hard badge. When some things rely on chance and percentages, it's not skill. Feels like I'm wasting time than being challenged with skill and strategy. This game is okay, can use improvement, a little frustrating with 80% hit chance and miss. Also, good job teaching the player something wrong. First defend mission says it's okay to let enemies in, just kick them out when times up. Now in later mission it says "No, you let him in so you lose." I'm out.
The only PROBLEMS were the different modes that didn't race the AI, you felt the issues there and the handling couldn't really handle it. Hitting objects kinda felt off at times, sometimes I felt the hit box wasn't clear enough. Lastly objects shouldn't stay on the field unless it looks different. Broken robot pieces, fine. Smaller basket balls? no. The random placement sometimes felt like you needed to be a little luck to manage a gold. Slalom Gates were indeed the WORST, either the handling isn't made for it or the gates were placed too close together... or I just suck (honestly it feels like I can clear it if I clutch hard enough). Felt good when you're racing, little nostalgia to the classics. The non-racing, not good. I know you're getting complaints on handling, but it's good. Any more and it's not made for the racing section. 2+/5, I admit I had fun, but the issues stood out. Though at the moment this is all I can think of, hope it helps.
2/5, honestly it feels a little uncomfortable at first, after a while you ignore it but you still notice it's around. The FIRST thing was the camera shake, it's strange and I know you're trying to imitate the feel of a car but we're not in a car, we're sitting in front of a monitor, so the feel doesn't work and just feels wrong. After awhile though you ignore it, but it's still bad. The UPGRADE menu should be accessible at all times, it felt wrong to only go to the upgrades after a race. Tire and car durability didn't feel necessary, races weren't ridiculously long, thankfully, to have an effect. DETAIL was nice, seeing damage to the car was good. Though it would be nice to change or remove sponsor decal but still have the multiplier. The DRIVING was good, felt like an old racing game. Didn't need to be concerned with the complexity of realism in modern racing games, felt nice.
Berzerk Studio you make some great games. Though unfortunately I'm unable to finish this one due to heavy intensity, dashing on a large board is my problem. When I click it lags so heavily that beating the game becomes impossible, possibly because I only have a tablet for a mouse. I'm not saying to reduce the intensity of your games, you should definitely put more. I'm just unfortunate to be unable to have a full experience. Good Game. Notes. I was kind of expecting variations of the other models, not just the bat. An aqua robot would have been pretty cool. I think I found a bug of one of the bats, all it did was flash it's different pallets, not sure if it was a special bat or a random chance bat. Bat swarm was surprisingly underwhelming and became more of a hindrance than an assist. Cannon should have an optional timer to keep the action flow or to time shots without stress. With or without, game's still great.
The game seriously needs to be improved, defeating bosses isn't even satisfying and feels like they should be removed or at least optional after defeating them. Costume management, cat arranging, speeding up battle speed, it would also be nice if I could see my base stats with costumes on. Also, the game just broke on me so yeah, seriously needs to be fixed. The thing is that you start the runner, it doesn't feel right since the game is slow. Interaction stops when you get into battle, not good as it removes interaction and stops being a game. The idea of a runner is "flow", it needs to keep moving. This is no runner, this is a side scrolling waiting game with numbers. Cats just pretty up your numbers, this game doesn't feel good, tastes bad. Also, for such a simple game, having a tutorial feels like this is aimed towards people that have no idea what a game is, this is Kongregate, even if you haven't played a flash game a tutorial like this is terrible. Keep it simple and clean.
