Owari, I believe the trick only works once for them, so if you're thinking of the final fight on the battleship there's your reason. If they can do the soul transfer trick more than once it could also have been because Moric was hardly in control of his mental faculties at that point. If you're speaking of the catacombs, why would you choose the body of some no-body guard over some great, long dead hero? If I were in Moric's shoes I'd have done the same probably.

Pretty sure the developer forgot to take out the command prompt. Hit tab and it pops up.

kguy152000 You are told explicitly before entering the throne room you can't return once you enter. The fault is yours for not reading. However, if you meant the Dream Shrine, you just leave the way you came in. vicentevv2, you cannot use Mardek's warp ability when in the dream realm. If you see Rohoph's head, warping is a no go.

I'm not sure if you'd count this as an oversight or not, but if you transform a boss it keeps the creatures health that it turned into, not it's normal. If you transform it once it takes out a massive chunk of its health. After that it's basically taking on a slightly more dangerous than normal enemy.

You know, I can understand that getting rid of ambiguity in your solutions is a pain and I can forgive a few having two solutions or something like this, but some of these have a ton of valid solutions, only one of which is the 'correct' one. There are three easily seen solutions for 55, probably more that aren't as intuitive.

There is one balance change that needs to be made. The Frozen Stone's effect of launching the ice shards need to be tied to having the full set equipped. As is, just equip it and the Starsword and you have burst damage 70-75% of the time. It lays waste to giant mobs of enemies and effectively stun locks bosses.

Cherry is still broken and a few of the puzzles cannot be solved by logic alone. These are In-Jan (no idea why it's called that), Lemon, Wolf, Smoke Pipe, Chameleon, Plant, and Cat, though the last two are easy to figure out what the solution should be. For Smoke Pipe, give yourself the bottom 8 and it's solveable. For Lemon, give yourself the 1-2 row and know that the intersection of 1,4,5,2 column and the 2,3,3,2 row should be filled in; with that it's solvable. For Chameleon, give yourself the 4 on the far right and you can do it. For the others, go by the picture not the numbers once you get to the end. In-Jan is sort of symmetrical, so keep that in mind if you can't figure out what it is.

Alright, found a rather odd bug in the bestiary of all places. Seems to be the name and description of some of the enemies will change to the one for 'deep squid'. They'll change back sometimes before you've even left the screen. Not sure what's going on there.

This game, at least to me, is a betrayal of what made the first one great. You don't have to fight tooth and claw in the levels anymore now, the creativity in the level design is just not there, and the repetitive nature forced on you if you want to do everything make it grossly inferior to the original. That being said, the new tower types and enemies are good, although the stun tower in particular seems highly prone to causing glitches like the beam tower in the last iteration. Also, beam tower glitch still exists.

Actually, I found Karnos pretty easy. I had Mardek and Gloria on null duty, Solaar on healing, and Sslen'ck on beating the tar out of it whenever possible. The others obviously took potshots whenever possible. The only thing you need to worry about is if it changes to Fig at which point you just attack, to force a reactionary change of element and focus on defences again afterwards. Now Animus on the other hand...that one is a nightmare even with high aether resistance...Good luck when you get to it.

@albertillo My tip for the arena is to raid the Miasmal Citadel before you try it. There are some very good items in there to help. Also, try to make sure your health is topped up and mana is in decent shape before ending each battle when you get into the last three or four fights. Also try to have the best weapon for all your characters, though some like Solaar's might be too hard to get at that point. You should also complete the fairy quest as it gives you a scarab which is incredibly handy. The same general tips apply to the solo challenges, though I only started them after I cleaned the Dream Shrine of all its treasure. The Rainbow Disk is invaluable for it's 40% resistance across the board. An easy win for Sslen'ck is to equip him with the Drakel Crescent for Soul Strike, the cursed beret, lesser rainbow shirt, and the scarabs of fury and health. He rarely takes damage and kills almost everything in one hit.

I love this game to death, but it has the same problem as EBF3 did. The number of materials needed to upgrade some things, or even worse, all of them, is really scewed. You only need a few of some rare drops, whereas others, particularly Bottled Darkness and Ruby, you need mountains of. A little better balancing for loot drops or use would be much appreciated in the future
