Nevermind. The skill cap is 1000. As soon as you get a vampiric hat (+50% learning) just wear as many items that have the same boost until you're as high as you're allowed to go. Farm dungeons and watch your combat skills climb at absurd speeds.
Anyone know if there is a limit to how high your skills can go? And if there is one, what is it? I ask because between two items I have a 75% boost to learning and some of my skills are nearly 1000 now.
Biggest kick in the pants this game can give you: killing a razor queen, then failing to clear the few remaining enemies in the nest. God damn Torchies, you get me every time...
I'm of the same mind as moarty. Passive perks that need to be unlocked would be great. They don't (and shouldn't) be very big though, like getting an additional double jump per flower, or daggers able to go through two enemies.
Am I just blind, or is there no way to actually see the achievements you can get? It'd be nice to see them all, even if you get most without focusing on them.
@PixelTzar Or you could just have your party have very high aether resistance to buy more time to whittle down it's spirit stat. Also, the storms do do damage based on percent. The final version does over 100% of your hp. Have fun getting around that one!
Anyone have a good way to get the Bullet Hell award? I killed myself on the last attack pattern of Oblivion and nothing. Is there a better attack pattern somewhere for it?
So sneaking makes you completely invisible? Even if you're completely in the open and an armed guard is looking right at you and could touch if he reached out? Seems legit.
For anyone having problems on Straight Through (id 35) DO NOT follow the level hint, at least not for a good chunk of the level. Get a Normal 3 in one of the corners of the intersection and fill in the rest of those four corners with regular towers. As you get more bubbles to spend fill in all the spaces you can along the vertical path first, then the horizontal line as the vertical one is wider. Sell ALL your towers but the Normal 3 just before you get your first slow wave and you'll have enough to get a Sniper Tower after you kill one of the Slow creeps. After that get a Fire Rate tower and have it share a side with the Sniper Tower. Get it fully upgraded then place three more towers to form a 2x2 block with the third tower touching the two new towers and upgrade it to a Range Boost of first or second level (second preferable), then work on making the two remaining towers into a Slow and Area Burst. Upgrade to a Mega-Tower near the end of the level and you'll have a perfect.
Unfortunately, ziltoid82 is wrong. The ninja champions on the last level can be killed by spamming meteor provided you've fully upgraded it, decreased it's cost as much as possible and increased your maximum mana to 500. The second last level ends with a champion ninja that has 2500 hp, 500 more damage than you can deal from the meteor spam. This means your only chance to really get a brilliant rating is to freeze the ninja, or remove it's ability. Either of these requires using crypts. Hope that helps for the hard badge.
Got a pretty fast solution for Stannite, although I waste two sulfurs.

I'm perfectly aware that I could have just missed it, but I don't see any instructions anywhere. When I first started I found it confusing and I started playing by forcing myself to alternate colours like you do normally. Eventually I figured out you didn't have to and after that that you could go either direction. The game should actually explain the changes it made to its base material.
@bob4ever Yeah, you need a x3, or x4 multiplier to have him attackable. He's a pirate, so he can only appear when there's water around. And yes, I know, he's a real pain in the butt on pro because of this. Great idea for a boss though.
