Just because you have different interests doesn't mean that you can't still talk to her. I don't know what you friend told her,but just striking a casual conversation should be good enough to make a guess if you still like her or not.
Thanks to patreon, I can work on the games full time without worrying about the money. It really did help in improving the games. Thanks for playing :D
These games are a breath of fresh air for me,especially since the good games on kongregate don't appear as often as they used to,and it seems that 90% of the new ones are either repetitive idle games or P2W MMOs.Of course and you get your good idle games, and your fair MMOs,but it has been a long time since i have enjoyed an RPG maker game, that is not a RPG, on kongregate or elsewhere.
The humour is spot-on,and most if not all of the jokes are original(damn chef sacrificing potatoes to the tomato god). The story is engaging and the characters have good arcs and develop nicely. The only complaint i might have is that in a few areas the game stutters, but you give the player a way to fix it,something i doubt many developers would do.
Great game,5/5.I can't wait for more.
How to win for anyone that says this game is based on luck:Get totems.Specifically, the green totems that slow down time.Get 3 of them and then if you can the 20,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 weapon. After 3 time totems you can constistently hit the 20 on the weapon and kill bosses with 2-4 hits(and every other enemy with 1).You don't have to farm to get better, just make sure that you get the 20 attack weapon(it's a special weapon,so good luck),and then always try to get special scrolls(95% of S.Weapons suck). Also,at the golden chests ALWAYS GET TOTEMS.Totems will be the thing that carries you.Get as many totems as you can,the 20 weapon, use the scrolls you have on the bosses until you get slow-mo and the 20 weapon and you should be fine.
GLHF
For anyone struggling with the game, try using the arc spread. It is cheap, and it can get you through many, many levels.Try using it for as long as you can(i got the final weapon without buying any other ones). Some of the best weapons that last till the end boss are the BFG(you can shoot it from 1 corner of the map and follow it from the inside.it is a really good shield that is recharged by the time you reach the other corner diagonally),the lightning(if you hold it down until it runs out it is a screen clear, although it takes some time to recharge),the big laser(i see it as a slightly worse BFG),the vortex(when used with the BFG or the laser it can clear more than 1 screen at a time) and the duck death(good for damage and clears, but it gets much worse at the later stages). If you don't buy every new weapon and stick with the good cheap ones you can have all these weapons before the second boss.Good luck :)
This game is unbalanced. The best strategy atm is to ignore all other upgrades and to go for barely enough attack to one-shot them,go for the flat resource/wave until it costs >100 and then put everything in attack speed. You can't keep killing them in one hit since their hp increases way too fast,so you want to be able to survive while killing them in 2 shots.Right now there is no reason to buy ANY of the deffensive upgrades, and most research(elements, deffense, multishot, bouncing etc.) is useless since the costs rise too fast and they give too little.I'd suggest that you make the enemies give slightly more blocks with each wave(0.05 for example) and make the elemental and all the special offensive upgrades give more in return of what you pay.If you want to,you can look at the undefeated spider to see how it should be done.Your game is quite similar to it.
Thanks, undefeated spider is an awesome game. It seems like the creator and I had a similiar concept in mind but he implemented it way faster. I am going to focus on balancing as soon as I finish implementing all planned features. Please check out the latest version if the new enemy type changes the use of defense upgrades. :)
If you have trouble with the zombies on the ramps try to have the front wheel on the air before you get to them so you go over them and not through them.
Sorry for the double post.
To complete the challenge you have to max out the wheels, engine and transmissions,as well as put any remaining money on fuel on day one.Try to get at least 7k.Then buy the gun,put all your money in bullets and the rest in fuel(you should have more than half bullets and maxed fuel at this point).Try to get around 10k.The last day buy the boost and put as much money as you can in in,and the rest into bullets.
To get the challenge you want to use the bullets in the last ramp before the crates.Try not to use it too early.Remember:You start at 3127 ft away,so to get the badge you want to get to 2127,not 2000.
If you fail, press escape and restart before the game ends your day.Retry as many times as you have to.It should take you about 10-15 mins after you get to day 3.
To help with the badge,a good strategy to get time going and ''take up'' as little space as possible is to jump ap and down at the same spot 2-3 times. That way you lag everything down, and in most stages you can save yourself from looping to open the exit. The only stage where you have to loop is the last one(In the last one you can use this trick 3-4 times before you pass the door the first time)
I hope you can understand what i said.English isn't my native language.
''I promise it wont take 2 years, definitely this year !'' RobotJam-2011
Don't get me wrong,i know that it can be really hard to develop a game and many things can go wrong, especially with good games like these, but please don't promise anything if you aren't sure if you can fulfill that promise.
During the end-game(end/after the campaign)the game becomes extremely hard, and the difficulty scaling is extreme. The new quests are harder and harder, while the lack of a x10,x25,x100 buy button makes you waste minutes at a time to buy market and resource upgrades.
Overall, the game is awesome and i would like to see it finished, but try to help the player or give them a reward for finishing the campaign(like the ability to ''turn off'' base attacks. They become the most difficult problem to deal with since they constantly drain your minion count every few turns, forcing you to rebuy huge amounts of them)
Those are very good ideas! Thank you! We'll consider them and try to insert them in a future release, if possible. Right now we couldn't find a way to make a "neverending mode", but we'll see what we'll be able to do. Thank you again and keep having fun! ;)
I had the similar thoughts, but because of friend the situation is ruined now... Anyway, thanks!
