This is my choice of spells for SURVIVAL mode (i can hold at least 14 minutes so that's enough for the achievement) : SOUL JAR (spam the spell), Confusion (fire at will), Concrete fist (especially useful once tower is getting high), Earthquake (better if maxed or leveled up a bit) - finally reaper and spirit blade, but these can be different (locust + whatever you like)
Could be a good game if :
-you didnt have to spend your time running after money, not enjoying the game
-hotkeys for powers
-latest upgrades not so expensive : you have to do level 30 over and over again to get money so you can pass harder levels (reeeeeeeeally boring).
I give it a 2/5 until fixed.
I could actually enjoy the game if I wasnt always focusing on the money. That's all you have time to do while in game : collect the money. While this is rewading, it's not enjoyable at all... I'd like to watch my penguins fight :(

Wait, i'll take off 1 point for the long game over screen.
Oh wait, i'll take off 1 point for the non explicit bonus descriptions (bought useless ones when you really can't afford to).
Oh and 1 point cause it's fu**ing random with no skill required in the last levels.
So that's a... 2/5 for this game. Too bad...
For last boss : use lightning inside the boss for around 5 secs. Then go to the side of the screen and move up or down a few inches every second until the boss stops moving again, then if you didnt get hit and still have some life go inside the boss again with the lightning. It should be over by now ! If not use BFG and big laser to finish him off :)
I wonder why you get to choose the quality of the game when you'll end end putting it on low anyway. Someone's trying to make you think your computer is at fault while it's definitely coming from the game :D I find it dishonest...
I've played a lot of these games where you just send people to the other base.. This one is the best :) Direct controling + simple upgrade system makes it ++++
If you have trouble with the game being slightly offscreen, try pressing Ctrl + 0. This will set your screen size to default.
I didn't believe it would work at first since resizing wouldn't change the problem, but it did :)

I left a comment earlier saying how frustrating it was to play the game with the current energy system. Well now it's settled, I decided -reluctantly because i liked the game- to stop playing.... Farewell Tyrant :(
Ok so at some point in the game you can only play for 10 minutes, then you have to wait 2 hours, play 10 minutes, wait 2 hours etc...... WHERE IS THE FUN ? isn't a game supposed to be fun and enjoyable ?
