I love that the game is so crammed with details but there's so many of them and without explanation to what they mean to me as a player - it confuses me.
Maybe some sort of tutorial made out of really simple songs and just showing what you are playing and what the computer is playing and how to understand what I see in front of me.
I played two levels, I'm still not sure about it all but I got a pretty good idea. I enjoy that it confuses me because at least I know I'm using my brain but at the same time it isn't immediately understandable and that might cause troubles.
Also, my interpretation of winternoise's comment isn't compatible with your answer.
Upgrades; More life, More dmg. Clean and simple... And boring. There's no life to this robot. This robot is just statistics and kiting. Yahoo. There's Yatzi games with more action!
Moving the robot felt fake, as if I was actually moving a ball around. Why does my legs move crazy swift when I walk down-left only to break off to the left? Why doesn't my robot just move slightly to the left instead of the whole roundabout?
I'm sorry, I just noticed there's weapons showing clearly IF you stand in the light in the middle. It's so dark I can barely see more than the siluette of the robot.
From me, 2/5
What's up with the double barrelled machinegun? I'm going to waste half of my ammo just trying to hit the cretins. Why can my pilot not choose to fire only one weapon instead of both?
I expected my weapon to aim at my mouse, that isn't the case and it is only barely towards it.
The laser comes where from? I'm trying a new weapon and I don't even know where it'll come from.
Rockets, happens to fire from the right arm but also slightly outside it which makes it hard to predict how to fire the weapon to hit.
Agree with rbailey, the music is wonderful and somehow not repetitive. What I found to be most fun was to play ignoring the obvious puzzles and finding another way out. Now that I think about it, I feel rat-ish.
Corporal! What do you mean we are on the border?! Why can't we target above us, just because we are down at the border of the battlefield!?
"Sir!, We don't know!"
What has happened to attrition? I've just seen six battles between 6vs8 and the six has won, in six consecutive turns. What is up? Did you change your die rules? In 160 matches, I haven't seen anything like it, ever. And it just keeps happening. My 4 just beat an 8, without any care in the world, and it kept on flinging foes around as if it certainly wasn't just a normal three, no it was the tri-force, beating up a six as it went past.
I feel like the only thing I really do in this game: Hunting colored balls to gain cash.
So adding a magnet, would literally automatize the entire gameplay and let the machine play the game for me. You made similar mistakes in Assault droid and these lie in the details of the gameplay.
40 levels of Bubble catching, with barely enough time to catch them. Especially hard to catch when there's a lot of enemies.
XX levels in Assault Droid, nice feel to the droid but catching metal scrap that vanishes quite quickly, need more time, especially on lvls with a lot of enemies.
There's no time to use the power-ups efficiently - Feels like time is running by when having to pull down mouse to the bottom of the screen if there's balls lying around elsewhere. Bombs; Fairly useless because of this.
What is the difference between Attire and Hardcore? I mean, specifically and not just "In one you might loose some army and in the other it is a win/loose situation". 1on1 and 1on1q are easily understood by just playing a game of either/each.
Why does the scrap metal vanish anyway? Didn't I just destroy the robot so that it would STOP moving? Am I hovering above some sort of acidic metal that just happens to look like normal hangar floor?
Waay too easy, I managed to survive with gun until uzi and then uzi until minigun. +money/exp is too powerful. It ought to be +3exp/money per upg. At least, that's my opinion.
nope, it is just coincidence. There are some random disconnects, it just happened to disconenct him after swearing.
