Dev, great job on v0.3. Still have some issues to work out (my previous comment), but so far, so good. A couple minor issues I noticed that I had not previously: 1) cash/fill doesn't need the 'sec' shown on the progress bar since it isn't relevant; should probably change that to 'fill'. 2) When depressing the progress bar, the cash/sec should reflect whatever multiplier is in effect. I assume it's between 1.25 and 1.5, but I'm sure you know.
I like this game, but it's way too buggy right now. This review is after the v0.2 update. 1) Sometimes you cannot buy more buildings; you lose the money but the building count doesn't increase. 2) During battles, archers get stuck on buildings and don't move. 3) The previous could be resolved if you could remove a soldier from the battlefield but unless they die, they cannot be removed. 4) Ranged units will attack the buildings before they attack units - so an enemy in a tower will kill the defenseless melee units attacking the building. 5) Ranged units still hit obstacles in front of them, repeatedly. 6) There is no way to automate the training of units so if they are dying off very quickly (which happens often) you spend more time on the training screen than on the battle screen. This is because 7) you have to train a unit one by one, which is tedious and meaningless. 8) The enemy has many units with 'one hit kill', which wouldn't be so bad if the previous items were addressed.
FANTASTIC feedback - Thank you! 1) I posted v0.3 today that should fix this. Please let me know if this persists. 2) Yes, still improving archer and wiz movement. 3) Added individual unit withdraw in v0.3! 4) Right, working on improved archer/wiz targeting priority. 5) Yes, wizards playing wall ball. Working on a fix 6) Auto-train in development! 7) Multiple unit train is a possibility we are exploring, too. My son wants this, but still getting the best balance on time/money for it 8) Golems detuned in v0.3 and knights much tougher. THANKS AGAIN! Please keep watching for updates!
Lots of fun, dev, and very addictive! I just have a couple of suggestions. 1-Option to change quality. 2-Should be a 'buy all' option on the main screen for both the managers and the upgrades. With tons of credits going back and forth is a lot of unnecessary clicking since you get money so fast at the beginning. Either that, or 3) Make the fonts/pictures smaller. That way everything is on one page with no scrolling. 'Idle Oil Tycoon' for Android does a great job of it.
This is the *only* idle game that I play, consistently, day to day. All the others have either no more dev support or they just stopped being fun. Great job, dev, for making a game so simplistic yet hopelessly addictive.
@HollowedHearts: The developer explained it responding to Darvious, but here is the shorter version. Use it to gain Bank units instead of buying them outright. It's cheaper if you wait for the percentage to be below 100% - I use it at it's lowest at 20%. This might take awhile, but it's excellent if you don't have the cash to buy bank units when you are close to the next 100 mark.
@chucknorris321: The import/export functions do work, there is just no confirmation. When you click 'export' it copies the necessary information to your clipboard, and you just paste it into notepad and save. The 'import' function uses whatever you have copied into your clipboard last.
I think if you cannot 'turn off' your businesses, then they should 'turn on' when you either purchase one of them or hire one of their managers. That way after each reset you don't have to click each one to start it.
I broke the game. At 49 trillion multiplier, level 500, the diamonds per second show 'NaN'. It was fun, but now pretty much unplayable. I can no longer purchase any orange treasure chests.
Addictive game. I love it. A couple things that I hope I will see. 1) an 'endless' mode. I want to keep playing, and the only way I can do that now is to 'clear data' and start over, hoping that if I can 'beat' the system I can get more money. Like, stop building at the bronze medal and then start over and stop at the silver, and so on. I wish there was a 'late' game mode where I could keep playing and get some sort of never-ending reward. 2) Small thing, but the screen where you beat the level does not mention what level it is. I replay a lot to see a better score, but sometimes I lose track of what level it is. I then have to remember the score I had and look it up to see the level, assuming I beat my last score. It would be nice to know the level I am on when I beat the level. 3) I love this game. Any enhancement other than bug fixes would be awesome. Or make a sequel. I love addictive games, and this is one of them. Kudos!
