Tried this game, It sucks.
Lags like you're playing a full big team game of Halo 4 when you have people from around the globe almost all the time.
Pretty much the whole game is that you get thrown in missions, you try to make friends, and you spend a lot of the game looking at the respawn screen because of this lag.
What fun.
Only problem with this game, A SINGLE FRAME can make your entire thing miss, I cant even imagine how many times I have missed with the librarian cause my cpu does not like this game entirely, With that ONE FRAME I have died SEVERAL TIMES cause of misses, I wish so hard right now there was a way to fix this for a better game, 4/5 only cause of the lag frames.
well, i just killed myself when i used a portal, standing still, i dont want to know what happend. I'd complain about bug testing but this is a flash game, still 3/5 for me.
erm... I kinda have to agree with Terastas at certain points of the game, its not like most of my rages, but the 3D perspective kinda throws the game off in areas such as the first red plasma room (i managed to clip through a wall) your portals can lead to glitches (in a room where spikes are present on a moving roof, if your portal is on a wall and you exit through it, you wont die unless you jump) and overall, this is taking another game title and can actually be accountable as plagiarism... i say the game's around a 3/5 for how it is, but that's like games such as super mario cross over, not the same game, everything else is.
From this game it takes an actual unique turn from most of the newer TD's coming out, the levels get progressively harder without the means of turning up a dial on spawn rate. The problem summoned by this is in my own opinion that fighters are dam near too mandatory from the start to the end. The bigger problem then is the GOD DAM TROLL, Cool unit, but can he stop eating ALL my dam archers? :/ Like a control on a troll maybe? (more pun intended then needed) but maybe a on or off on that god dam cannibalism BS? I had my archers trying to kill one of the other archers but the troll just kept eating people when he had full hp.
The only real problem i have with most of these games is theres only ONE real way you can do a setup in a level and if you dont follow it exactly you either have a big struggle at one point or you get your a$$ handed to you on a silver platter. I say 4/5 for being a good game overall but having the same characteristics as most other games, still liked the leveling of troops though, made it easy to play around and see which type somewhat worked best (fighters are mandatory to upgrade 100% I find.)
@gamerguy75 I can agree with the getting used to the game part but the RNG still hates me in the end, i came back to play this more today to see how it would react, im getting level 6 archers. not even elite's or anything. and my highest level card is a level 18 pack of wolves.
@mitbeaver07 yes it does work, but its very miniscule, i dont know if having higher level or lower level will show a difference in how much it does heal, but it is there. (another thing, should fire archers/fire monks do any damage at all to balrog's? Cause they do.)
Balrogs are very worth it in my opinion, ofc they get almost no hp but its enough to recover most small ranged damage along with the enemies being damaged by it, i find it very effective against something such as treants who are weak to fire and get hit alot by this, sometimes killed before even contacting most of my troops.
in game achievements are a little funky, when it says 5 star unit, it has not been given to me, but when i got a 11 star (never had a 10 star) it gave me the in game achievement for 10 star unit... might want to check up on this Nerdook...
even funnier about this game, did you know that the magic that kills one troop of both sides considers the general a troop? Shows how much Nerdook cared about the leaders. :|
Oh, my, God, i got ONE archer upgrade finally (yeah i never got any new archers past level 4, RNG friendly now?) but level 8 fire archer, im just crusin through the game now... :/
throckmeisterz, he also says the RNG is just too much RNG, thats where I say the game seriously falls, my previous comments such as the hero one I can understand somesort, im more used to the kick-a$$ generals such as gundam's n stuff i guess, but really, this game out of all of them from my personal opinion is just not there, its just too random for random. The game hates me, what else can I say. (no more from me.)
@Epicfail1994 because I have atleast a heart size over the grinch I will stop complaining, but I already see other comments that are now just coming up with the exact same issue, the RNG just HATES people somedays, I came back to this game and was able to get 5 decent cards just to get crapped on again for the next hour or so with buying, a previous comment from...
Even more fun.
@Sardonica, Gj, you got as many negatives as i did and you hated only on me, if you haven't seen my badges in comparison, maybe you should just go live on an island before commenting, ofc the game isn't perfect is that not what I was stating, and it is that bad, ive given my reasons more then once but what it comes down to is, Good dev does NOT always = good game. Even worse is its most likely the same people doing the same disliking. What, do I have to say that I like the music and the oversize creatures n stuff? That's more the icing on the s**t cake now, not actual game play.
@chaingangsucks so by seeing a good dev makes a good game, Why do all these die hard fans not see that this is around a 2.5/5 game? It has a horrible RNG factor that conTROLLS a player so you have to bend over to its whim? Imagine in ANY game that you can cast magic that your spells come to you randomly in mind. Any RTS game that only allows you to send 3 randomly picked units from your army. And last but not least ANY game that you're a single hero that is amazing, make them a pushover. ANY HERO. That is how this game makes me feel to the rest of the games out there.
