LOL. I just replayed the game and stopped all the aliens from abducting anything. I was going to avert the "unknown" meteroid with a bigger one if I could but at the end of the level before the gigantor one I made randomly exploded for no apparent reason.... so I let the t-rex kill himself by roaring comets down on himself.
The dinosaur is easy. All the little holes in the obstacles are like SLICE HERE signs. Also the cross; I slashed it diagonally once and won it... didn't even realize I was going to.
If there were more waves, we might need a recharge rate upgrade, HOWEVER ever noticed that the tanks have a weak spot on that plus-sign window (except the largest one, which is outside the radius where you can hit it) Also the UFO's, I failed wave 20 first time with all maxed upgrades and full health bought, then noticed those and wiped it out easily. Also, remember to click individually on enemies, don't drag along the ground to the next one, it wastes energy. Always shoot for the head.
To beat level four at the beginning wait for one of the other colours to almost take a building and then send in a force to finish the job, saving resources for you to fend them off. Just move somewhat slowly and methodicallyt overtake your end of the boat. then send all units to the front lines and use those towers next to the enemy to extend your territory. Swarm the last few bases with all your towers and you've got a nice clean win.... now what I'm trying to work out is lvl 10. Being attacked at any point makes my resources spread really thin...
I have trouble deciding whether to go all str or all physical peircing on my biological, or somewhere in between... right now I've got a couple of good def items in head and sheild slots, but I kinda want to put my high pysical peirce offhand ruby blade, and I could switch my devil's blade back out for the light blade or ancient sword- swapping peirce for str... someone give me a shout if they know wich is better at wich spots in the game?
All-around good, this game forces you to morph your strategy slightly if not completely by the end of the game. The ability to control a unit makes the game in my opinion; without this feature the game would be , but not nearly as much as with it. I think the magikill AI failed when I fought it because it just ran around attacking not making many minions, but later on it got smarter. I love all of the facets of this game and I might come back to play it on hard. 5/5 and favorite. Badges are deserved but not necessary; in fact, I find that several of the best games on this site don't have a single one, although many do.
I'm so glad that the sequel came up on the random games window; I love this! Some of the music makes you feel like the evil mastermind at work preparing your doom machines! The interface is nice and thin. The controls are easy to learn and understand. 5/5 and favorite!
I found a few pieces of info on the virus but then finished the game before completing the story. I don't really want to play the story all over again just to finish the side quest though...
At mhouse. On reverse and not told to disobey jump and run around a bunch and you should get it. Because if you run and jump around on normal you fail it.
derekmlui: I got ONE first time- and I'm not even sure if that counted, because it was a tank and we blew each other up at the same time! I R a winner.
