Gets terribly repetitive. At a certain point, there is already a pattern where you don't even have to click and just keep on upgrading your idle fighters.
I think the game would be a whole lot better if your ratio on certain items is more balanced. Level 5 cost of Ultimate Upgrade is 100 qT and 40,000 gems. Getting 40,000 gems takes maybe a minute or less for someone of that level but reaching 100 qT could take an entire day or so, even when you buy clicks with the millions of gems you've already gotten. The current system is leans too much towards getting gems and buying clicks; earning money through clicks or idling is overshadowed way too much.
Very imaginative and cute game. I'd like to see: 1) Improvement on the growing lag the longer one plays the game, 2) Making some sort of indicator over an enemy if a player has already completed the enemy's set, 3) Indicate the set bonus over the respective sets in the equipment menu, 4) Allow us to equip other items on a cat's blank slots without jeopardizing the prevailing set bonus i.e. Batman with Capt. America's Shield.
I don't see why people are complaining about newspapers costing more than oil rigs. 1 oil rig gives you more bang for your buck than thousands of newspapers and costs less, and people are complaining!? Well, the developer can always do it the other way around and make it so much harder to reach the 500 achievement after every reset.
If you're planning on adding more upgrades, maybe do a menu system to tidy up the upgrades.
I.E.
Lemonade Upgrades:
- Little Umbrellas
- Novelty Straws
- Imported Ice Cubes
- Combustible Lemons
For anyone who wants to clear the game - just use the Stein with Executioner + Unholy Ring/Doom Stone set, and try to get them with either stun or splash damage to make your life easier.
Bug: it says organization members die 5 minutes real-time but they disappear after 1 minute... I usually time it so I can benefit for the first 4 before I immortalize them but they disappear before that.
From the updates: There was an issue with the save files. Everything should be fine if you start a new game now. Loading shouldn’t be a problem after this point. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Just my 2 cents:
1) I like the balance between physical and magic damage. You have to use both if you want to get through.
2) Considering that Endless Mode requires the player to first finish the campaign and the player is at a considerably higher level after doing so, you should probably raise the base difficulty of Endless Mode rather than starting it off like the player is at level 1 =)
Yes indeed, I've received a few comments regarding the Endless Mode starting difficulty. I will definitely be adjusting it in the next update. Thanks for the feedback, my friend!
Grindy. For people who are going after the badges, the fastest way for me to earn blops (or whatever the currency is called) was to upgrade Dart core (preferably until you unload 24 darts per shot) and have laser/magic (for lead and ceramic) for the left and right arms. Deep bloon sea map 1 (stage 11) was the easiest farming stage for me when you're in mid-game.
It'd be nice to get some tool tips on stuff like Item Mastery... Rather than wonder why I should even get a weapon with lower stats and an ability which can be anything from higher chances to steal to increasing item efficacy.
Too easy if you have atleast 1 gravity gun. Equip it aimed directly in front of you and stay in the center. Equip other ranged weapons, preferably cannons and crossbows, and/or lasers, all aimed at the center. For added benefit, equip the Chill Attack supportive part, if you have it. Pretty much own every level even on insane.
What does the Mags upgrade do - increase maximum ammo or increase reload speed?
If its the former, it's pretty useless since people should never have their ammo maxed when enemies keep pouring in.
Though, you can pretty much be invincible in this game.
1. Repaired. 2. repaired. 3. repaired. Gonna add it in next update
