I can't give it more than three stars even though I wanted to. 21 and 22 don't work for me (probably it's chrome being a bitch) and (this shouldn't spoil too much..) I am prohibited by my admin to do 23. All that being said it's a nice concept! I love it and I'm gonna play the sequel right after posting this :)
It's really difficult to update the game on every updates : Flash, Chrome, IE, Safari, Linux, OSX, Windows, Kongregate, etc. I tried to offer new game experiences. Indeed sometimes your need some extra device or authorisations. But it's too bad to remove some very interesting puzzles if only 5% of ppl can't solve them. I hope you will understand :)
Try the game again in best conditions...
EDIT : 21 and 22 works well (Windows 7, Chrome)
The way the towers pick targets is really getting on my nerves. More often than not, there's this dude with very little health who's just waltzing away out of range while a pack that just came within range gets all the attention. Seriously, it's one bullet, fire it. While I love the attention to the visual details (apart from cars running over dudes) I can't give this more than 2 stars cause the amount of frustration degrades my experience that much. I could very easily give at _least_ 4 stars otherwise.
What, speed test? Too hard with timing? How can those nice slow moving obstacles be a problem? You've obviously never played "Space is Key". I challenge you to maintain your oppinion after trying that game. :P
And what would the reason to "save me the logistical nightmare" of taking my plane and money across Mediterranean? Lazy story writer? Although I'd hate to be stuck with the damn Junkers tin can for longer than necessary, having slower progression in the planes (like I can progress through the first three in Africa and so on) would be an idea. It really killed me when I realized that I have to start over and that it'll probably be the same on the other continents.
I'll join the crowd here and say it again: It's a really wonderfull game but it's going to fail miserably long term because of the pay to play things. Namely repairs and market refresh. What would be nicer is repair costs and a passive income or other means to make money to make sure people don't strand. Free fuel when I can't afford it is nice, but I'd rather have to work to get going instead. And one more thing, why isn't there a market in a city like Cairo already? It gets annoying that there just isn't any markets or workshops in any city at all past JBN and HRE and that the prices go so high.. Oh wait, there's a kred purchase. You know, it would actually be okay if the repair and market stock weren't so focused on kreds. Kred purchases are good, but this has gone out of hand. Sit yourself down and play the game and ask yourself if you think it's fun to play like this. I'm willing to bet a few of my kreds that your honest answer would be no.
It'd be really nice if either the trucks would depart from the nearest facility or the blue lines that appear when mousing over a facility with orders would always be visible. Or maybe an order counter on each facility. I'm having trouble distributing the orders evenly among my facilities all the time when the overview is missing. The mentioned lines are a huge help, but I could wish for more.
Not registering clicks fast enough..? What you're using an auto clicker program or something? :P It registers plenty fast. Way faster than anyone can click a mouse, I dare say. There's also the quality setting, which could help you.
Elijah48: Yes. It'll say on the reset button how many you'll earn when you reset. They're really handy though. I reset when I'll get 2-5 times more than I had. The improvement to speed is grand.
frankbexxx, you'd have to file a bug report if you lost your save. They'll surely help you then. While they do try to read all the comments, they might miss a few.
It's fixed, sorry for the delay :) But I didn't receive any bug report anymore :(.
