Hey a lot of people are saying this game is hard, but I think that your point and click adventures are amongst the fairest I've ever played. Really enjoying the games. I didn't have trouble finding the drum or figuring anything out. SPOILER!: I was kinda mad when I broke the axe on the vampire's chest tho! Well done! You are awesome.
Actually it's not necessarily the husband that's the jerk. It seems like a cooperative game, but it is actually competitive. Whoever pulls the most weight in the beginning gets to be in charge at the end.
I love this game! Don't listen or be discouraged by the people complaining about the controls. These controls are really fun when you get used to them. REALLY fun. And that game that is similar but uses the mouse, IMO this game is much cooler because of the fluid speed of the dragon and the thrill of getting used to the controls. It almost feels like piloting. Actually I would like to see a piloting game with these controls. Some people said that it would be useful to make a full turn is this game. It's not impossible. At first it feels unnatural, but you get used to it. To turn you just start by turning at a 45 degree angle, say if you were going right his down or up and as the dragon turns in that direction hit the left key and he will flip over pretty quickly enough and go the other way. I feel silly that I had to explain that, but didn't want people to get away with saying you can't turn in the game.
The Brawn's way is not easier unless you know what to do, because you will be clicking all over the screen and then you get smooshed before you have a chance to do anything. Actually I think the brawn ending is the only part of the game that is a little unfair, because suddenly you are working with a timer which you didn't have to do on any of the other levels, and every time you get smooshed you have to start all over again at the screen before the last. Of course once you know what to do, yeah it's easier.
Love the game.
I like how the first game blended into this one. That invention from the first game didn't work out quite so great though. I still feel these games are really too short to call them games in and of themselves. They feel more like levels to me than complete games.
This game is super fun.
My two cents: A little too easy. I know it's probably supposed to be easy so kids can play it, but I think it would be nice to have difficulty setting preferences. Everyone is saying that they want more upgrades, but how can that make sense as the game is right now. It would only make it even easier.
Why did I start off with a bunch of spells get killed by a demon much more powerful than me and then wake up with no spells and no explanation in dialogue? It is a miracle how high this game is rated.
I really love the style, but I think really the demo is so short it's not really worth playing. I didn't even feel like I went through a level. Looking forward to playing the finished product though. So I guess mission accomplished there.
Okay I finally figured it out, but only through the use of a video walkthrough. Which I had to turn to again and again. It's not that it wasn't worth it, because it is a great game. And yeah I agree with the crowd that says it's scary. But man...it's so frustrating having to click in places where there are no clues that you have to click there. That's not a good point and click adventure if there isn't good logic for doing each part, or even knowing where to click. In the walkthrough it said I would see why I had to cover the table to stop the flies...but actually I have no idea why I did that. Nor am I sure why I put the heart on the hook...anyway really cool game tho. Really cool ending. I want to see more scary stuff.
