Great art and very original (but a bit too repetetive music).
Shame about the horrific sound effects and total lack of any care in design of the actual game.
Ho hum. Another attempt at a beat-em-up-platformer.
In every other attempt at doing this I've played, the controls for the fighting part are hopelessly simple and the platforming sections are poorly done with little redeeming features. Thankfully this game has completely stayed exactly the same to this tradition.
Also the fact that the waves and powerups are entirely random means skill rarely enters it. If the game decides to throw you a set of mines you cannot possibly get through, then that's just your bad luck.
Crap collision, really *REALLY* irritating badly looped music and the main element of the game (rotation), is for the most part irrelevant.
I wouldn't be playing this game unless I was trying to level up faster than my mate Shteev.
An okay take on moon patrol. But it would be nice to be able to control the height of the jumps in a more sensible way.
It's also pretty obvious very little effort has been put in. Shame.
Why is meat boy so hard? Because the controls are really really sloppy and you need huge amounts of precision. It feels like trying to steer a semi trailer on a very narrow icy path.
If you enjoy frustrating gameplay, and I mean REALLY FRUSTRATING gameplay, then this is for you! Otherwise avoid because it's ugly and painful to play.
@careser:
In my country senses of humour are mandatory. However, spelling mistakes, bad drawings and randomness does not hilarity make. Just because it's supposed to be funny doesn't make it any less rubbish.
