Really not a fan of unbeatable enemies. Forced me to waste most of my potions and left me really unprepared for later fights. A side from that a good combo is the bard and paladin. If you activate the paladins Fire Aura ability and buff him with Speed Up, most enemies will fall without you actually having to hit them. This also really helps speed up the long boss fights since Fire Aura does not need to be reactivated (unless the enemy has a debuffing ability).
Honestly not sure what I was doing. The units were never really introduced so it took me a while to figure out how to get new ones. Also the gameplay felt pretty muddy, units never really seemed to do what made sense or if they were I couldn't tell because there it doesn't say what they are doing. Maybe highlighting their target when you do a mouse over would help. Also this game could really use levels rather than just a seemingly random survival mode.
Oh, also the games has no end. You basically just kill everything and admire the map. A nice enhancement would be making it more obvious which territories you have conquered without having to mouse over every single one.
So basically if you max your intelligence and your Northwind skill (assuming you pick the Frost Legion) you can win with all your other stats and skills at 1 just by sitting at spawn and spamming northwind. Also just a heads up, it looks like the final quest weapon you get as a katana, so if you feel that being the last weapon it is the most powerful, pick a ninja character.
A very important thing to note. There is a pretty bad bug when it comes to upgrading runes. Basically the max level rune you can get is 5. If you drag a group of level 5 runes onto the upgrade rune slot they will be destroyed. Lost maybe 10 runes on this because I keep forgetting to check their levels.
Within about the first 5 minutes of play I got stuck in the inventory screen (exit button did not work). I tried about everything to get out but it seems I have to refresh the game. Figured I would report this bug incase no one else has yet. Not sure how it happened since all I did was equip 3 runes on my weapon (1 on my armor) and swapped my helmet for a headband and boots for a footwrap.
It would be really nice if I knew what the glasses looked like. I actually found them immediately however when I saw them as a black square I figured it was just another item in the game (possibly a mouse hole since it was against the wall)
The games not bad, I'm just not much of a fan of how the graphics are almost a complete ripoff of the computer game Majesty. This is fun in it's own way but its hard for me to look at the game not not be disappointed with how unlike majesty it is.
Didn't really like this game. The lorry got stuck on almost everything, also jumping over the front was a huge hassle. Jumping in fact was pretty terrible as every platform was just barely in range and took at least 10 tries to get on. My biggest complaint is that health packs are useless and no matter how much health I have basically everything can kill me instantly (even stationary gears) also melee stopped working mid game.
I realise that I am just doing this to crash test dummies but this game makes me feel like a horrible person. Probably doesn't help that the dummy bleeds (purple blood) as well. Also there might be a memory leak. The game crashed probably 4 or 5 times while I was trying to get all the achievements.
My only complaint is that towers don't priorities enemies well. More often than not I've had my last gem carried off because my towers decided the enemies near my empty cave were more threatening than the peseant walking away with the gem.
The only criticism I can offer up is that the scenes are a little too busy with set dressing (all the tables, ridiculously dense trees, chemical spills, etc) which makes the game a bit stressful to look at (finding a chest is like playing 'Where's Waldo?'). It would also I wish I could mix specialties to some degree (like I could have 1/3 of my points in another skill tree). That way I could use let my depressed little pony heal and use some water attacks. Overall well done.
Didn't really like this game. I'm not sure exactly why I was fighting things other than apparently it's my job or I guess I was hunting the guy who keyed my armor (maybe?) Also it seems like there was really no point to have 3 people. Usually I would do much better in a fight if I just spammed one warrior (since they wouldn't knock enemies away from themselves) Also the stylized font made things hard to read, I only figured out attack because I just pushed random buttons in frustration. I feel this could have been fun, but there really wasn't much to do or reason to do it.
there is a small bug where if you use the 'use/steal' button near two objects at the same time you can get stuck. The only way to fix this is by refreshing the page.
Good combo xD
