I appreciate the changes that have been made to improve this game, and I've been enjoying the game in general - I would maybe throw some more tips in in places(or a tab for 'Help' or something) that just makes it super obvious what goes to what.. like, What -exactly- do Systems and Weapons benefit, respectively? Just so that people can clearly be aware of what raising various things will lead to.. And also maybe make it clear that spending legacy points in the Legacy tab does remove those points - and going from 5 to 0 again was a little frustrating. Overall fun so far. keep at it ! :)
My opinion is if you're going to make the game better, more interesting, and a hard reset is necessary, then to go ahead. All progress is immaterial anyway, and can be re-obtained. Proceed.
Thank you to the Dev for considering peoples' feedback and updating the game, improving the overall quality for people. It may also be helpful to include the update log outside of the game, as well, just to be able to see what is getting changed over time. :)
I like and enjoy the idea between this and Idle Portal Guardian, but the fact is that they use a lot of the same concepts, words.. the two things feel more or less like the same game with just a few differences. I agree with what most other people have said, that some stuff like 'fusing' doesn't really make sense, what is the lich fusing? Tooltips for things would help to better explain stuff. I like the idea of an idle game with the lich, and also the idea of including the various Great Old Ones/other gods, that sort of thing, but am not really sure how it all ties in with eachother. Like I said, I like the idea behind the game and I'd like to see it grow and become better.
I really like the idea in the game, and have been actively trying to get farther, and figure out stuff.. I feel like with some of the cost-decreases being kind of all over the place, and some of the unit upgrades also showing up later, that the upgrades aren't really fully balanced.. It also feels like for maximum efficiency, you have to get a unit to 100, and immediately get the -90% cost milestone(along with whatever other cost decreases you can get), otherwise you end up wasting resources, and it makes it harder to reach those other, higher milestones, but I might just be imagining that.. There is also that bug that people have mentioned where Buy Max stops working, and only buys 1 of whatever unit it's broken on.. but other than those few things, I've been thoroughly enjoying the game though, great job! Thank you for making it. Could definitely see adding more to the game, if you wanted to see it grow.
I let the game run overnight to try to even approach a Legendary prestige.. only got like 14% of the way, so I saved twice to make sure, and then refreshed the game to see if there was a new update making this at all more fun, and my save is gone now I guess. I don't see anything in the updates about wiping saves, and no comments on it, so I can only assume this is a bug.. regardless, it was kind of a slog to get to where I was, the game feels slow and not super rewarding at the moment, and I don't really feel like trying to get back there right now. Might come back and play again someday.
Nevermind. I had conflicting information. Every 5th max speed = 1 extra max speed upgrade. Every 15th upgrade in general = 1 free upgrade to a thing of your choice. Just wasn't immediately clear.
I can appreciate the timing of this coming out, since DOOM Eternal will be here soon. It is a fun, short idle game, has an okay pace to it, granted it is basic and doesn't really bring anything new to the genre. Good for nostalgia, and those who like to obsessively get through every idle game they can find. :p
Thank you for putting this together.
Pressing the little 'pause' button on things does not seem to stop them from actually doing things.. they continue using up resources, and can make it hard to do things..
Can we have a way to spend more than 1 point at a time? Or is there one? It just gets tedious clicking to spend when you accumulate tons and tons of prestige points. Gotta ctrl+click to buy like 10 or 100 levels at once or something, please.
Pretty fun, has challenging moments of timing, and I like the humor. What I appreciate most is the Devs dedication to answering everyone's feedback. Cheers!
I like it for the most part, have been having a lot of fun in it. Interesting mechanics for stuff, a nice different take on idle games. One thing that kind of bothers me is that in combat, my monsters never seem to want to focus fire one enemy, they are constantly attacking different targets.. meaning the targets don't die quickly, and seeing a battle be lost where each enemy has like 10% health left is a little bit annoying. Other than that, good so far. Cheers! o/
I was hoping you would do more with a style like Gragyriss, with the dragons, growth, etc, and I also play a lot of idle games, so this is pretty great - Glad to see you did more with it. Would be cool to see it grow even more. :D
Thanks for your feedback!
