For those unaware, getting a x2 or x3 combo or whatever doesn't take your final score and double or triple it - it doubles or triples anything you pick up, to begin with. So 1 coin is actually worth 2, or 3, upon pickup.
So, generally when I start up flash games I worry if they have really loud noises in the intro, or obnoxious music I can't turn off. When I first started this, it brought up two buttons, "With sound", "Without sound" That alone, for me, makes this a great game. Thank you for that, developer. Now I'll go actually play the game. =p
I feel like some people are making comments with questions about things that seem fairly obvious to me. As for a 'flee' option, go to the map and go to a different area and I imagine it will put you in a different fight. The "Auto +1" on the screen means if you want to auto-upgrade an item to that specific level. The rest of the blacksmithing skill questions are obvious. "Won't disappear before +1" means it won't disappear/fail before you have it at +1 - only at +2 or higher will it possibly fail.
So many games have really loud annoying musical intros that you can't mute - and sometimes games don't have music/sound volume/buttons at all - So I thank you for adding one to the very beginning of your game, before any sounds play. You get a good rating because of that.
Lol. It's funny to read this and see all the people bitching because of the fact that things take energy and stamina, which recharge slowly. Bunch of impatient bastards, you are. It's a mechanic of the game - deal with it.
@Cathalman, "the game needs to be more intresting at the start. People with low attention spans will not continue playing and so the game will not have many stars "
I would like to address this comment. This is an /idle/, grinding sort of game. People with what you describe as low attention spans, probably wouldn't be playing this anyways. If they try it for a little, and rate it low, because they personally didn't like it? Whatever, piss on them. This is a neat, fun little game that I don't /have/ to pay a lot of attention to. The game is plenty interesting.
Waves with darkness + flashlight are irritating, as the flashlight actually makes it /harder/ to see in the dark. An option to turn it on or off would be kind of neat.
This has a mute sound/music button from the start. So many other games have annoying sounds or music that you can't get rid of, especially at the beginning. This game automatically gets a good rating from me, for that alone. Thank you.
So here's a fun bug - I went on a hunt mission, and it spawned me in part of the terrain that was impossible to leave. So. I'm stuck here, unable to finish it, and will have to recall my students and lose the mission. I am on an island, with rivers all around that make the terrain impassable.
You know, considering there is a "Reset Progress" button, I was assuming my progress would be saved, when I had to leave and go do something else. I come back to the game today, and I have to start from the beginning.. Oh well.
Not everything seems to function as they should. A weapon I had, for example, gave +5 to protection. I equip the weapon - and my protection doesn't go up.
Well that is a slight bit disappointing. I come back to this game, after having not been on it in a while, and... my save is gone. T_T I don't remember much of my stuff, but I know that I spent a while getting it. Oh well. No real harm done, I suppose. Keep being awesome.
Yes, this is exactly how it works. We'll probably change this in next game though as it seems to confuse people.
