Correction: In a few more minutes from my previous comment, I got my numbers so high that the game froze, and now will no longer let me play without doing a hard reset. Guess it's beat.
Yeah.. I already made a post and a comment about what happened to me, my save is gone, lost a couple hundred gems worth of stuff + the time and effort, and judging from the lack of response, nothing is going to be done about it, much like the nothing done for anyone else. oh well.
The game is fun and I came back to it after having taken a break, before all this crazy new stuff was added, figured I'd try it out.. only to find out my save is gone. I had been up to like, the 3rd major area in Fighting, had Infinite Forge unlocked, some of the special miners, and some other stuff, and lost it all. Don't know why. =( RIP save. had not cleared cache, same computer, same browser, don't know.
While I did enjoy the game for the two hours or so that I played it, calling it an idle or incremental game seems sketchy at best. Like yes, you -can- let it run and farm gold from levels, but it really feels like you have to be active for it to achieve anything. And as far as I know there is no offline progress or farming. I don't know what all the planned features are, but it is not by any means a bad game, I just feel like it is more of a tower defense than an idle game. The graphics are great, I really liked that the various tower bits got different looks as you buy upgrades, and I also enjoyed the tidal effects happening with the water - good stuff. Cheers. o/
It is a little hilarious to me that the game got released on Steam before(as far as I know) some of the top rated comments were addressed. Like, the game was made worse, and then released on Steam. Sounds like something that can only hurt the developer by making people know of the game while it has a bunch of issues still. Really should've done more work on it first. Oh well.
I got up to 100 million on the first millionaire event thing, did it, and some kind of prompt with a bunch of text popped up - but at the same time, before I got to read anything, I had also completed a quest for gaining 5 levels, which made the first prompt go away, and I never got to read what it said.
One gold ore to make a net? For real? That's the point where I've gotta stop playing. I understand the need for some kind of progression goals, and that they cost things, but gold ore =/= netting material. Just have it be wheat too, like the cloth. or something like that. or let people gather plant fiber from berry bushes or something, and refine that into rope or something. One gold ore.. lol.
I think that it would be nice if the clone cap is Training/Skills could go down the same way the battle cap does - Maybe Training's cap could relate to your Physical power, and Skills cap could relate to your Mystical power?
I'm convinced that the Mole, with upgraded level and amount, is hands down the best thing you can have. It just seems like it, money and time-wise, has been the most effective thing to raise. Not even the top 'minion' comes close to equaling The Mole in power.
Wow, despite having the game muted for both sound and music, it STILL makes a really loud noise when mousing over the Game Ark icon. How very annoying.
There is a Topic in our Forum with detailed instructions on how to make it work again. The problem is caused by the new version of Google Chrome :)
