It would be nice to be able to summon two things (different, of course) instead of one, and to be able to control them, as well. Other than that, I cn't wait for a sequel, if you're making one (please do!). But PLEASE for the love of all things RPG make it longer! This game was too short for such an amazing game. Games of this quality are few and far between, and I couldn't get enough of this one.
Aww, I liked the unbalanced combat. Mymage could freeze somebody with 60 damage, now he only does 20. My summoned demon is weaker, too. All in all, it seems less so balanced and more so tipped in favor of the opponents. Especially those with four people to your two plus a summon.
This is an interesting and new method for a card game, offering you class, and having an rpg-like structural lay-out in quest. The map does look a little like Protector IV's, though not enough to be a minus. However, the darkness bit does get a little annoying as you don't know when the next opponent will be until you're right on top of him/her/it. Also, though I know this was originally a FB game, the energy bit is always a drag, and using "dragon coins" (which, by the way sounds like the real money currency in both Dragonfable and Dragon's Call) to refill it is a bit of a high order. Maybe if it cost us gold to refill, we could play for longer (and hence get hooked more). Otherwise, great game! Hope to see it make the Hot New Games area.
Hey there Hiryuu,
We really appreciate your feedback and suggestions, we're always looking for ways to improve our game and ensure that Clash of the Dragons is a 5 Star product. :)
Thank you.
AHAHA!!! Cute, and very funny. One the questions I asked was "Will I get promoted at work?" The repsonse: "The Future lies with you!" :3
Awesome sound track, BTW.
Keep up the good work.
I just beat the game, and already I am in love with it. I plan on going back and doing the other difficulties. My only real problem with it is how it encourages us to have a "kill first, think second" mentality which kills strategy. But it is very fun, and a very good game. I have a slow computer, and I didn't encounter a single glitch. Loved the level names too. Do, please make a sequel with perhaps a bit of storyline? Not too much because that might ruin the gameplay (As I've seen happen before) but a little would be nice. 5/5 and favorited.
It's a pretty fun space game, though as it has been mentioned before the balance is way off. I suppose one way of looking at it is that this game is sort of like life. You can't go back, you can't reset. so just think 3 moves ahead, and hope to out-smart everyone else. The chalenge is what makes it fun. Oh, and JMCrooks, everyone else can make it outta the first star system. So what does that say about you?
What Shikimaru17 says is true, I replicated it (a stupid decision, actually) and I couldn't get them back, and I had to refresh. It's not too annoying though, unless ya do it. I'm warning ya don't move and combine.
I'm curious, but did anyone else noice the inverted pentagram in the 'D' of the logo? I only ask because it is a well-known devil/demon worship symbol.
Fun game, though truth to tell, a little annoying. I'm a perfectionist so I refuse to move onto the next kingdom without a gold medal, but I find that I have to repeat a level several times before I have a chance to get to it. So before finishing the third kingdom, I ended up with all monsters and spells, as well as both bonus chests. But the gameplay is fun, and animation is nice. However, screwing around with the mouse gets tiresome (and I pity the laptop-ers). But genius game design, you pulled off a difficult concept very well. I love the layout and how everything else is done, but perhaps a little back-story into our evil little mage's life would help. I find it more satisfying to raze villages to the ground when I know WHY I'm doing it.
When you make a second game (as I do believe your public not only demands, but you have already said), then you have a great platform to build off of. You might make multiple story-lines (or simple alterations thereof) for each ending, with the option to pick which one you liked most. Also, you might give us the option to choose what Deuce says, as in most dating Sims, though I have to say this is the least necessary. Fix the glitches, if you would, because while they would not deter me from the game, they can be annoying. A necessity to all sequels is, of course more weapons ^^. Get Dedai working over time. Other than that, I simply must say : Thank you for such an incredible and fun game, and good luck to you in all your game-making endeavors. Keep up the good work, the gamin industry needs more people as capable as you.
The battles were a little tedious at times, though only on hard, and the drones showed a severe lack of organization. Also, the drones seemed to have the annoying ability to move at will through the environment, while most of my weapons couldn't (though you seemed to solve that mostly through the wave weapon). I absolutely LOVED the plot twists and dramatic reveals, and I therefore applaud your skills as an author. [terribly sorry for the three-part comment, but Kong is picky about length. Or maybe I just ramble. Again, sorry]
I must say, first off, that I loved this game. There were very few laws, and those mostly minor. I did have a problem, however, with the landscape at times. I would inexplicably find myself caught and unable to move, or glitch through it. The other main problem I had was a little control problem. At times (seemingly more often versus Iblis) a single, light tap would cause my ship to fly to the opposite end of the screen, thereby hitting more bullets, and more annoyingly the purple laser, than what I had dodged. I don't know if anyone else had a similar problem, but this did great damage to my shields. Other than that, I loved the art direction and music, as well as the special effects. I thought you did a wonderful job with the character portraits, using a just few to express a wide range of things. The writing is some of the best I have ever heard, and even on my third restart, I dared not to miss a word of it.
After level 49, i had 89 lives left... I survived level 50 for a total of two minutes before a massive swarm overpowered all remaining defenses. I just wasted an hout of my life |D. And Now I'm about to do it again
Very fun, aced in one go. Just go around in circles. Problem was, i got to the final boss before i could kill off the others. I decided to hunt them down in invincible mode so I could get the badge. Turns out after you win, Kong won't record Big 4 kills Maybe fix this?
I love the AI's logic. My element was time, its was darkness. I place a devonian dragon out, it decides to nightmare a tonof them into my hand. Poor thing didn't stand a chance.
