Things I like: expressively drawn cut scenes with humor that is actually well written; being able to change the color of your units after you buy them; that the main character is female, which isn't often enough in flash games.
If you want to survive in later levels you MUST get resistances. The enemies stall out at ice knights, flame breathers, green electrical orbs, and normal/healer goblin dudes. Boss will always be green orb (but you can two hit him easy). Ice is most important resistance since at 100 ice knights no longer do damage. Next is fire to nerf the flame breath, though they will still cut you. After that, of course, electrical. Poison is pointless. Once you get up around level 15 you can't loose the game without being a complete idiot. I am a demon cursed with 0 spells, and I am mowing them down. 3 STR, 1 STA on leveling. Horde those resistance items! Armor comes second. Bad item drops is what you really need to fear.
Mages are disappointingly weak. Shouldn't magic be the most powerful? Rogues are definitely the damage dealers. Bows are effective, but daggers just let you have several moves that kill most opponents outright. I found soldiers crappy and gave up on them. I like having Rogan around, but I don't need two guys who can't deal much hurt (unless I conjure a second one as a mage).
