Apparently the newer Flash engine broke this game in regards of survival, asteroids are really not get displayed past some first few. Checked that by dragging one asteroid all round the edge and invisibly absorbing some more of them being spawned nearby. At least the level mode still works properly.
I wonder if medium badge requires *different* tricks. Atm my "best combo" says 115 tricks, yet no medium badge awarded. Hard's achieved properly tho. 4/5, little funny jumping kid.
Average at best. Needs reworking as you're not exactly pulled to the black hole, instead you are pulled *somewhere*, probably there's a playfield border limiting player's object when playing vs black hole. Also bounding box collision is NOT a good thing here. 3/5 however, was enjoyable for several minutes.
Kiting is king here. Get 50 speed and just back off any danger excluding the last boss, with him just circle. Use khopesh - you'll need weapon range before everything else.
Penta, yes there's Glean out there, which is pretty much this, however you can't exactly fly in there, only jump. But it's a dig-it game with upgrades.
You won't run into a wall if you get to know how angering works, and are able to develop gems ahead of curve to have a gap to anger (anger=summon more monsters) and still handle waves. Use mana steal for that, once you get the skill tome you'll be able to create mana steal gems on all levels.
This game heavily relies on your Internet's stability, not only while you play live PvP. If anything goes wrong, it just says "Hey look I have an abort()!" and you have to restart the browser, or else.
Mallybird, no it's not needed, Gemcraft series never needs anything "hidden" anyhow to beat the game. Here in GC:L, some challenges can only be completed with premium settings, but they are irrelevant to beating the game.
This game's hard badges are worth some 4h together, there are games with medium badges one can only get in several days worth of playing. And it's still alive after all those years - nice, solid, feature rich (for a first game in series) tower defense.
@mouse42 get your population up by investing techs into cattle, and don't forget about pop capacity. The game can be won without any other investments but cattle and pyramid (and city planning).
