For derium black market, is the special backup % additive or multiplicative? That is Special Backup Alpha increases change by 10% making a .1% into .11% or 10.1%? (one seems overpowered and the other negligible so I can't tell)
5/5 on initial impression, 4/5 accounting for how they badged it and missed potential - levels like the last one could be harder by making the last vertical blue piece be longer so it forces a wall jump up instead of just jumping on it to ride it like an elevator. Also a lot more potential with the keys on swaps for puzzles in the level. Current levels just have the keys as items you just pass by.
Sometimes when I start a battle, the game would crash and I would need to reload the game. That by itself is ok, but then the troops I had sent into battle would be lost which really stings. If it would at least autoplay it instead and show a summary win or lose that would be better than just auto losing the troops and battle.
Thank you for your opinion. We have active and fast support who help always in these issues. Also, have in mind firefox is not friendly with flash technologies.
For beating enhanced, I found having the lighthouse and a tower of water early to slow down the darkness helped tremendously.
Great job on the many advanced buildings. Wasn't until I continued on enhanced that I realized there were so many additional methods you put in. Kudos!
In case someone's wondering how long it takes to get all 3 badges, it took me 78 days to join the council of crowns. I was also able to complete the first two badges much earlier than that.
Interesting Glitch - I can capture what looks to be a fully evolved Spike Apalala that when trained can duplicate evolve into whatever I evolve right before I click evolve on him. Upon capture, it had 3 unknown options that couldn't be clicked on but despite being able to duplicate an evolution (including legendary), the type stays as an apalala.
So I locked the window but the end game summary said I didn't. Next time through I locked it then tried to open the window and got the message the window is locked. End summary was good.
tldr - check and get confirmation your window is locked before boarding it!
This last update (March 31-April 3) has caused this game from being one I enjoyed to one I no longer see any potential in. Despite having 11.15 bonus multiplier, as many have said the wait times for hobbies are horrendous. I've also noticed the jobs are also progressing slower (was getting my promotions faster previously).
While it's in beta we'll be constantly tweaking the balance, trying to land on the right amount. Don't want it too easy or people will get bored, and too hard people will get frustrated. It's a process we're still working on :3
Sword is piercing AOE damage that is about double your little bullets. Aside from tough enemies (stationary ones that shoot something at you), I found it much easier to kill with sword.
So I had 54 diamonds, then I do a soft reset and get the notice that for playing beta you're gifting us 52 diamonds and the options are to accept or say no thanks. I accepted and went from 54 diamonds down to 52 diamonds. Something doesn't seem quite right there?
A few things that weren't too clear to me:
1. Destroying enemy (not the little bugs but the lasers and the bug spawners) gives you technology...for the longest time I was avoiding them.
2. Slots - you only get one of the bonus, not all (I made the error of assuming you get all and went and upgraded each one to max as I got them...)
2. Turbos are easy to max, but the last one (T4) that requires the jump resource doesn't seem worth it. It would take 2 speed upgrades, 3 duration upgrades, and 2 charge upgrades to even out with the maxed out T3 turbo. Maybe some balancing is needed?
3. Similar to the turbo, the last engine would require at least 3 upgrades for power and 3 for max speed to make it better than the E4 engine.
4. I found it easier to progress with a maxed out H2 Catepillar Hull then bothering to upgrade the H3 or H4.
Overall it is a grind like everyone else has said but I still think it's a well created game - 4/5 if not for some balancing items.
AI gotta be smarter about looting...before opening a door to more enemies, loot what's near by? When looting at the end of the wave, split the guys so they're not walking one direction then another together....
After playing and dying at hades many times, my one tip would be to maximize defense and evasion (bracelets and talents) then just concentrating on killing the creeps with hits while killing hades with magic (I used daggers).
Mainly just be careful of the giants as they're the only ones that hit hard enough to matter. If you're low on life, run a bit farther so your regeneration gets you to a safer area while you one shot any small creep getting in your way and hope for a regen or life rune to put you back into action. Goodluck all and hopefully they add badges!
It's an interesting game - you can farm the currency easily if you just grind and not take down a door (get infinite easy creeps!). With the fire tree, the extra cash per kill adds up pretty fast. Once you get your final weapon, breaking down the 3 doors is pretty much a joke. You can then level really fast at hades by killing the giants that spawn.
Killing Hades however, is still not that easy :) good game overall and looking forward to future updates!
Guide to badges: the following composition allowed me to get to stage 15 without repeating a stage. 1) Unlock Popo 2) Unlock Popo’s mage unit “Matriarch” 3) Unlock Viegraff’s “Paladin” unit 4) Unlock Lilith 5) Unlock Lilith’s “Turdzilla” unit. Equip your heroes with whatever items you get, Viegraff gets the best protection equipment helm/chest/boot while Lilith gets the best attack items. + if this helped!
I've encountered a glitch after my 4th reset where:
1. Most of the items are "purchased" already and I can equip them. However I cannot tell if the effects are in place
2. The Buildings are already purchased already but they do not give me the space so I can only hire 1 helper (makes it really hard to progress)
3. The Guilds are all already joined but do not progress. They appear to be stuck at the level I had reset them at.
I've tried refreshing the page and have also tried to continue to progress to a 5th reset. Unfortunately it's very hard to get far into the game with the restrictions.
coordination of chimps is good. maybe add in classes for chimps as jobs, leader/shaman/defender/attacker that boosts certain aspects for the group. Additional attack, block, health, etc...
Almost every bonus in the game are multiplicative making them very powerful!
