changing weapons sucks if you're not playing on a querty keyboard ... I basicaly ignored one of the weapons since shift does not cycle through all of them. Would be better to have the option to make ctrl/shift go to previous/next weapon so you can actually use all your weapons when playing with the arrow keys instead.
This would have been a 5/5 if you had some more control over your guys, like saying: try taking this square so they don't leave it until you control it ... now it boils down to how quickly you can select your guys instead of strategy -.-
finished the game without maxing my crew completely ... still not enough gold to purchase the last upgrade for the ship. I don't feel like grinding the final levels either. The shields being destroyed in one hit made them feel useless. Collecting hearts isn't worth it either, except to make room for keys/swords. In the end the only thing that matters is to make lines quickly rather than think of good strategies to get higher combos. Overall, I liked the mechanic, but the numbers didn't really fit.
would be useful if you would know how many balls there are in total, so that you can have an idea if you should try to avoid catching most of them, or you need to grab them all
Yup 1/5 for bad controls. Jumping starts really fast, then some weird in air control and then almost slow motion when falling down to go into a powerslide o.O And then i'm not even starting on going from uphill walk into horizontal grounds ...
I really didn't like the trap/enemy hitbox. It's so unforgiving -.- Can't believe how often I died when I threw something and expected the enemy to die before I reach there.
Biggest problem was not being able to move while zooming (exept climbing a ladder). Camera was too close when not zooming.
How was the jumping not solid? There are few games with a jumping respond as solid as this one. The controls were awesome (although some of the platforms might have been better if they were a pixel lower). Awesome game, but short :)
Aiming the lightning seems to be a lot harder then I would expect -.- might be my semi broken mouse butten but I keep failing even the really easy targets.
I liked the kirby avalanche or timon and pumba drob games better where you always had 2 blocks each drop. WAAAY easier to build up combos. Right now my combos were either destroyed by the special powers (early game) or impossible because of the number of colors on screen (score over 10k). I prefer a little more control over the game than this ...
Too much randomness, too little skill (or I just lack the skill for this game completely). Score didn't really make sense or is also too much luck based. So overall i didn't like this game. Shame nerdook, your games usually rock!
Weir hit detection, hydras hitting me with a ground stomp even when I'm in the air already, huge lag after a couple of games (fail garbage collect?) 3/5
@alex: you need to outdamage him somehow. I leveled up three times fighting him as well before I tried setting everyting for maximum damage. And even then it took a while to kill. Really annoying boss, but not completely impossible.
for level 8: push the middle blue one a spot to the right. Now push the right 2 blue ones in the watter. Create a bridge with the rock. Now try creating a bridge to the left island using the 2 rocks and the orange one. Clear the orange and repair the bridge with the other rock. Finish by clearing the 3 blue ones.
First few levels were kinda boring but it gets hard fast. Was finally able to beat the game =D This one could use a hard badge for solving all of them. That would also give people a reason to play past the first few levels. Awesome puzzler! 5/5
level 7 was rather frustrating because of the randomness in blocks. And that last level was mean :p I think it would be a little more enjoyable if you had a "save block for later" kinda thing like in tetrisfriends. A little too frustrating overall for a 5/5 so a 4/5 for me, only cause I actually finished the game
thank you for your advice :)
