I wasn't going to rip on this game too much until I saw it wasn't a 5 year old game like I assumed at first. I play games to have fun and this is not a fun game. Bad response to pressing jump, why is jump s/z and not space?, vines you can't climb for no reason, deadly milk, non-intuitive mechanics and functions. Bleh, badge isn't worth it.
This was cool and I liked the 3d changing perspectives concept but I would prefer a simple rotate button rather than having to do it manually. It's not always easy to get the perspective you want to 'stick'.
So.... you didn't need to actually get every chest in every dungeon for the hard badge... would have been nice to know that when they said "clear" every dungeon they didn't mean of everything!
Fun game. I like it. Just, every single animation is about 5x slower than it should be which makes things frustrating. It's bad enough I can't tell if lag or intentional.
So, I got to the boss. Nope, can't fight him. Grind to get all the achievements and upgrades. Die during final boss. Have to repeat the WHOLE GAME even though you just FORCED me to get all the upgrades/missions which makes the entire game pointless to replay. No no no no no... what is that all about? Is the dev a control freak? never played a game before? wtf? What? Why would anyone choose this when making a game??????
One of the saddest moments was when I died after beating the big fish guy for the first time and realized I had to go back and start from the very beginning and go through him again. Beating a boss should mean something.
I really don't like how the controls are so bad. If you hold left or right and then hit up it doesn't react. You have to stop pressing the horizontal direction first. so annoying..
I can't play this game because it requires Unity 2 and I have Unity 3. Kind of seems like Kong needs to remove all badges from games that have this issue or it's unfair.
One of those rare game of the day games that I would actually rather forego the extra 30 pts than play for 1 minute longer. It takes so long before you die that having to start over completely from scratch is painful. No thanks.
And why is the badge to play for 40 days? I ran out of stuff to buy around day 30 and the game hasn't changed much since then. Feel sort of like I've just done the same level 10 times in a row.
First, I played about 75% through having a miserable time. Everyone dying. Always spending all my time on repairs. I started over and never lost a person, building never took a single hit. Kind of a weird random variable in play there. I wish the morale face icon looked happy when you had full morale.
This game is old enough I'm sure no one cares. Played for literally all of a minute before just walking right off the edge of the screen never to return.
I think this game is pretty cool. I love the idea of buying upgrades to change the difficulty. It's keeping me interested and coming back 2 days in a row so far which is not always easy to do. Nice job!
Also, even when you choose keyboard mode there are a bunch of things you can't do with the keyboard. Like when you get the angel powerup you still have to click. And in the middle third of the game to keep flying you still have to click. Pressing up or down arrow seems reasonable for those situations.
So, I don't know if I'm not understanding something or if it's a bug but sometimes, never the first time I get him in a game, when the scorpion guy comes out I can't approach him. It's like there's an invisible wall between him and me. So since I can't attack him I just die eventually.
