Ugh the drones who heal and the drones who collect coins both have the same broken behavior. They all scramble to the one same target while another one is dying/fading 2 inches away!
I joined Kong in 2008. Good games weren't this bad then. Actually Kong's game quality has been slowly declining since then. You could press attack and then jump without a delay between. You could fight bosses without immediately getting knocked off the platform before having a chance to move because the game wasn't "ready" to listen for your keypress. You guys claiming 2008 explains the poor gaming experience must not actually remember 2008. The game was just poorly made then same as it is now.
I really hate that this game got badges. This just shows how far Kong is falling. This is pure garbage. It's been done 1000 times and no one was really into it before. There are crazy ads. No one wants this crap. To even things out how about an AMAZING game coming up? No? I didn't think so. I remember when this site had fun, addicting games that I looked forward to playing not only commercial money making bs.
I like this game a bunch. I find the whole dragging and dropping spells/potions to be too cumbersome though. I'm not coordinated enough to step towards a monster and drop the spell exactly when it is allowed. Half the time I drop the spell off to the side or too soon and nothing happens. Since they are only usable in a fight it seems like double clicking on a spell would be sufficient. For pots too since you can't really heal anyone else but you why not just double click?
I just spent all that time paying back my loan so I could get whatever rewards to beat Unholy Temple and I got TWO stupid equips 1 of which wasn't even better than my current one!!!! The other was only slightly better. Wtf
Geez, it's agonizingly painful to play this after you've already played the more recent Arkandian sequel. But it's really great to see how many of the user's suggestions the dev incorporated into the sequel. Great job!!
I do like this game. It has a lot of potential. But as so many of the games being badged lately it just doesn't seem quite finished. I wish the things you could buy weren't so defensive focused. I want to buy more offensive upgrades. It sucks when 1 enemy guy can kill 1 of my guys in 1 turn but not vice versa. There aren't any really cool guns to save for or cool offensive upgrades to look forward to. I don't even want to buy anything for 2-3 of the spots because they will lower my offense.
Don't let enemies recapture the base for 19 turns. Fast forward 18 monotonous turns. I think, "Ok, all my guys are in the base with nearly full health and we have 1 turn left. I'll just slack off." Enemy steps one foot in the base and I lose. It didn't say they couldn't enter the base just not recapture!!!!!!!
Something needs to be done about pathing. I was just having a perfect run and told my guy to go to a balcony above a mine. He runs on top of the mine and dies. wtf Pathing needs to go the most direct route. Which would have been 1 step diagonally from next to the mine up on top of the mine. Not the 2 step path it chose to go sideways on the mine and presumably up to the ledge. Obviously the algorithm prioritizes stepping on mines. Which doesn't make sense since my guys and I are on the same side.
How about adding something to the algorithm so that if you are going above a certain speed, and on an upwards trajectory, the likelihood of the group of purple things is 0. Going down above a certain speed a low chance. Below the certain speed then you have normal likelihood. And why is the 3rd map SOOOOOOOOO SLLLLLOOOOOOOWWWW? It takes like 5 mins to go less than a cm across the progress bar. I've bought all the upgrades money can buy and only have critter ones left and this is taking forever. I've made it halfway through the 3rd map once. This game would be fun if not for the HUGE imbalance. Being able to skip the first 2 maps when I'm on the 3rd map would be great. Maybe a super expensive upgrade or something? I've got all this pointless money to burn after all.....
Grind, grind, grind... was this game tested by anyone not actually programming the game before it was released? I thought I finished the game, got to the ark and there's a WHOLE SECOND SCREEN WIDTH to finish. This is not fun. I barely ever get to buy upgrades and as has been mentioned the tiny ceiling limits so much. Why did this get badges if it's still in beta?
Oh thank you god I got the 2nd badge and I never have to play this crap ever again. Anyone else find they were unable to jump towards the end of the game and the only way to get past it was to die so the barrels were gone when you came back with your 2nd life? So dumb.
My save completely disappeared. Was almost done with hard badge... I didn't do anything, make any changes, delete data/cookies/anything. SO FRUSTRATING.
