Nice game. I found it difficult to aim in only 8 directions, I would hit them once and then the enemy flies back a little and I need to re-aim, so it makes it difficult that way. SOLUTION: add a button for strafing. Maybe SHIFT [plus] direction?
Awesome game. This is a unique concept as far as I have seen. It was very fun, and like you said, easy to play. You need to remove the ball graphic and tail animation when the game has been won, so they don't linger over the menu.
Wow, there is no challenge to this game... I can hit bullseye every time, without error. And, how do you score a triple?? I agree with Vynx, re-thinking the controls for mouse may add some better gameplay.
Very original, and well-made game. The controls are easy, I was only wishing for some more diversity in color but the graphics still worked ok for me. I liked the gameplay, that is most important.
Jmtb02 continues to impress me with his vector style and animation. While I don't particularly enjoy this type of game, the animation makes it fun for me. Good work.
I tend to agree with Pixtiz on his comments about the graphics. I like your 'gangsta' style, though. The game play seemed a little stale to me. The enemy AI and the physics on the projectiles could use a little work. Decent game, overall.
Neat game. I think vynx makes the best point, that you gain nothing by using the unreal name, and it is misleading since this one is side-view and unreal is FPS. Most explosive gaming experience ever? No. Excellent Flash shoot-em-up? Yes.
Kudos to pixelate for mixing it up a bit! Reminds me of the book i'm reading, 'Rules of Play', so anyway to me its kind of redundant. While it is a very interesting movie premise, the audience is extremely limited (even among developers), so while it is better than a lot of the $%*# on this site, it is still somewhat out of place. Very well done, though, and a lot of recent newcomers to this site should read up!! lol
I agree (again) with Vynx. You have the beginnings of a good game: solid graphics, no bugs, etc., but it still feels incomplete. Try adding more enemy types and power-ups. (More challenge!) And, fps counter is cute, but useless to non-devs ;)
Good job on the animations and overall cinematic quality of the game, it works well to evolve your storyline, (and the voice acting is pretty decent, too!) I got stuck in the control room part, and I was very frustrated by your interface. For example, why does the hand always have to 'pick up' things?? Wouldn't it be useful to be able to, say, 'operate' the control panel instead of trying (in vain) to pick it up?
