This developer/publisher has a good style. I think this game is okay, I would like it better if I could choose the weapon, that seems like a standard control that was overlooked.
*Very nice game.* I especially like how there are three game modes, and some educational stuff to go along with it. Well done, and good to see some Flash stuff promoting global environmental awareness!
Agree strongly with Vynx, you need some kind of physics on your ball, even a simple acceleration, deceleration would be great. And, what if it bounced off the walls, taking down your energy bar or something. Instant death is impossible.
Personally, I would have prefered if up moved the bot forward, down backward, and left/right rotated the bot. But, I know not everyone will agree with me on that. Persistent debris is very cool! Nice job.
Sorry to say, but you are both wrong *=P* The only way to get perfect hit testing on a circular object is by using *distance-based* collision detection. Forget the shapeFlag, does anybody remember the Pythagorean theorem? Also, ball games still suck, IMO.
NegativeONE: Aha, I see how you did it then. I can imagine this on a Wii. The game is so much better now that I can put an angle on the ball! I have to admit I didn't notice that until you told me. Nice game, man.
The game is great... I had three balls going at once!... and, I like the explosion animations and the physics seem good and consistent. Very original, very fun.
I disagree, it seems consistent with an asteroid landing next to you, and jumping works to evade them. Very nice character animation, and explosion graphics. Overall a great little Shockwave game.
Yeah agreed. As a game it is fun, and actually somewhat "addictive", so it has it where it counts, but... better graphics are in order. Just choosing a font other than Times will be a start.
I agree with Greg, increase the rate of fire, I was frustrated by the delay. Also, if you put more work into the menu (titlescreen) graphics, it will do more justice to your game. Very fun.
