Actually, BOTOX, this is an original variation on Asteroids... have you ever seen one like it? No, I didn't think so. And don't give me Flash advice... until you can do something better (which i doubt you can).
A Seriously Awesome Game... I definitely think this is the best Flash brawler I've ever seen, hands-down. All the modes and characters are fun, great moves, and very nice backgrounds and music too!
I love the intro, and the game is unique, and fun. Agree with Coder about switching qualities, because the intro text is muddy, but the game is great, I like it!
Not sure I like the trial and error aspect: I breezed through the levels and then repeated the same level 100 times. A frustrating, but well done game.
Wow, nice game Hero! It was really awesome when the lightning bolts and stuff came out, and a very interesting variety of animations and stuff. Top notch, 5-stars.
The game is too large for my screen, and the controls feel a bit awkward, compared to Uber Breakout, which was a similar 'round-pong' type of game. The angles just don't feel natural enough.
Yeah it's a bummer to work really hard on something only to get a crappy rating. Try going six months for a 3.2 ... The reason I gave you 2 stars is because it's not very polished: clumsy controls, no animations, and unoriginal idea. On the bright side, it looks like your games are improving a lot and the coding is pretty solid. Spend more time on it, and you may get a better rating (maybe...)
Definitely reminds me of Elevator Action for the NES, which was a classic. I agree with renny about the levels thing, it would be great to see some different buildings or other level ideas, to add variety. It would make this game (which is quite good) even better.
Ok, sorry to double-post but here is a serious review: Reliable physics, nice graphics and fun sound fx make it a good game. Pirate theme is fun. You might consider allowing ppl to skip the questionnaire, though, since ppl like me will always give fake answers, you may get more reliable feedback :)
