This offroad thing in the game is an evil, mean act against the player! Becouse the nature of the game is that the turns aren't really turns instead they are forces pulling the car off the road. So a slight mistake and you drifted off the road and you instantly lose about 4/5 of your speed! And of course the other racers never make a mistake, so this means one slight mistake from you and at least 7 cars overtake you. There goes your cance for gold, sometimes even for the 10th place! I think it's not fair to make offroading halt you, practically couseing you to lose the race, when it's so easy to go offrad!
Make it slow the player down gradually and no more than 1/3 of your top speed (I mean the slowest speed you should get while offrading - with full throttle and with no offroad upgrades - is 2/3 of your top speed). Like that the offroad upgrades would be less a waste of money too, becouse currently with or without upgrades you just can't afford to go offroad at all!
Here is a tip for swarm mode: the creatures will always come from the spawn point nearest to you. So if you stay near one spawn point the creatures will come only from there. If you keep shooting in the dark with the China Lake you will kill them before you could see them and can survive for infinity (even though it's a cheap and boring way to fight).
By the way it said you can complete a level by finishing 3 sets. Well, I did it and nothing happened.
I hate that the enemies stick on you so you can't even run away once they got you and often you don't even see that there is an enemy in your ass! I also hate that in swarm mode whenever you get killed the wave-counter goes to zero. And it's impossible to last trough 3 sets without dieing, you will get surrounded sooner or later and when that happenes you are done for! At least if you could buy a shield too so that you could kill those enemies that got stick on you!
Suggestions: 1. Make it possible to save the game after each boss without haveing to pick up the magic! It would be best if there wasn't any new magic after you got the strongest one (Chaos I presume) becouse why would anyone want to downgrade his magic? Maybe there should be only ghost girls after level 4, that would at least make the difficoulty easier, currently I find it too hard anyway!
2. Give difficoulty settings, for example: "Hard": the current gameplay; "Normal": you start with 3 extra lives; "Easy": you have infinite extra lives.
3. Give the players more ingame instructions and warnings about beginner's traps! For example a warning that after you reached Chaos level magic touching new magic will be a downgrade (if you don't implement my 1st suggestion, of course); istructions on how to get into the Spirit World and how you can get back - or a warning if you can't get back, and a warning that you die if you touch the Spirit Girl in the Spirit World.
Thank you for listening.
World 1 is not very hard, has an all right difficoulty. World 2 welcomes you with an impossible challenge (things shooting untouchable projectiles all around wich stay there until they reload). That's when I said f*** it and quit. I knew it will become nintendo hard at one point, all these games do, but this a little unexpected.
Flipline Studios is very lucky that there are so many tedious, monotone physical jobs out there. Like this they'll never have to innovate becouse they have virtually limitless possibilities for job simulators! Papa's Builderia; Papa's Toilet Cleaneria; Papa's Window Cleaneria; Super factory-worker simulator: Light industry; Super factory-worker simulator: Heavy industry; Papa's Flash game makeria...
Papa's Smitheria. Wow, just when I thought it's impossible to release the same goddamn game in yet another (6th? 7th?) skin! And - just like the rest - it gets voted up sky high again!
Sons, I'm disappoint!
(I know it will get badges becouse all the Papa's games got, but I really hope this one at least won't make it into any quest!)
Very annoying! Once you get the hang of it it's gonna be less hard, but it keeps being annoying nontheless! The melee weapon is practically useless against zombies becouse it has so small range, and the zombies are knocked out of its range after each hit! Also most zombies have much longer range than your knife-mockingly-called-a-sword. The bows always miss at close range so there is a smal distance where neither of your weapons can be used. While the zombies get their "escape chance" when hit by getting knocked out of melee range you don't get anything similar so when you are surrounded and have used up your two power stomps - wich happenes ofted! - you are practically dead! Btw. since this stomp is your only chance to try and escape from danger haveing limited use of it is not fair.
If you get cornered you must run trough the enemies to get far enough to use your bow but then always comes another zombie in your way sou you are surrounded again and stomp and run again but then comes yet another f*cker but now you used up your ready stomps and have no time to kill this new bastard becouse the previous ones being in your a**. The "safe areas" are useless too becouse you can't hurt them from inside either and the stunned ones recover instantly when they get hit!
I also hate that you can only gather rescources while there is at least one zombie "alive" and if you kill all of them you lose everything you couldn't gather. In this sense the "turrets" do more bad then good becouse they can't defen you from being gangraped but they can kill the last zombie you left to be able to scavenge!
Awful. All I see is a black screen with a crosshair and my gun, and some purple thing glowing far away. Anything else is seen only by the flash of the gunshots. By that I managed to catch a few glimpses of a zombie, it lokked pretty bad too.
I played the previous 2 LtH games and this one is a lot better than them. It's finally straightforward instead of a damn labirynth city, civil cars don't act like police anymore and the police cars aren't that though now either. You can just speed trough the whole game and that's awesome. And when things start to heat up you just call for the back up truck.
I disagree with Toimus' comment: the controls are fine, the difficoulty is fine (no need to fine tune them), and upgrades are cmpletely unnecessery here (your car is fine already).
Thigs that could improve the game: MORE LEVELS!!! Other things: maybe a few sharp turns to make use of the handbrake. Also the new car could be more than just the same car with different coloring and it shouldn't change back to your old car after the first level.
I hat it when a game doesn't have a separate mute music button, only a mute everything button! In this game the music is loud as hell too compared to the sounds. Come on, it can't be that hard to add one more goddamn button for the music!
My biggest problem with this game is that everything is ridiculusly expensive in the shop. I know xou don't actually need to buy everything to compltete the game, but if you do want to buy everything - after all they are there to be bought - you're gonna have to grind much much more than anyone would want to play this game! With 21 wawes in the survival I earned like 6 times more than my best mission money and I still could not afford the Deatomizer. I think you should have most or all the weapons and upgrades available becouse after completeing the story mode there is not much interesting left in a game. Survival mode is always boring.
I also would like it more to have a fixed number of enemies rather than haveing them popping up ramdomly.
@Chimto: Papa's restaurants aren't simply just run by one employee. They are run by one employee on a below minimum wage salary!
(100$ a week? That's below even the Hungarian minimum wage! And he has to work in place of 3-4 people for this!) Papa is the tipycal vulture-capitalyst pig who exploits his workers maximally!
I don't understand how work simulators like this are so popular! One could do this irl and than one even got payed for it (altrough not much). It would be exactly this boring but a lot less stressful becouse irl you rarely have to serve 5 or more customers at the same time, and probably never have to do every task yourself! This game gives you the stress you get in a very buisy workday. I don't undarstend how can someone like that! I like to play games to relive stress not to get more!
At first I wanted to give a good score, but on the later levels this game became VERY annoying! There are always tons of enemies, all of them are hard to kill becouse all of them activates their special skill wich makes them temporarely invulnerable and they can withstand my fire for long anyway! Itt's easier to kill them by running into them and that's ridiculus! And then there are those defnse systems, they are the most annoying things a game can have! You can't do anything about them but avoiding, but they are persistent, always fallowing you, always aiming at you and blocking your way when fireing! They are not very hard to avoid so they don't make the game much more difficoult but they are the most annoyeing things I ever encountered in agame!
Also the game looks very bad with its' lack of colors.
2/5 becouse the concept is goo and it could have been a good game.
The last two levels are and order of magnitude harder than any of the rest. A few tips to beat them: level 14: ust the Commando with Blast resistence, Bouncing Betty and a good mchine gun (First Blood should do)! Place mines a soon as you get them (you might get killed and then the mine is lost), place them near the flags!
Level 15: use the Tank, with Adrenaline rush, a good shotgun (but maybe a strong shield will do too) and a good pistol! (The killstreak is indifferent, you won’t get to use it anyway.) Always try to be far from the boss, preferably on one of the planes on the sides, and shoot him with the pistol from afar! If you are on a plane he won’t rush at you from the rocket.
Good feedback thanks!
