The game mentions sniper rifles, assoult rifles, flamers, rocket lunchers and other cool weapons too, but I never encountered any of them! Only the small guns seem to have some variety.
Ps.: How should I recycle a weapon if it needs 5 AP-s and I get only 4? And if refilling stocks needs 4 AP-s, why does it give only 1 item instead of refilling the stock to its starting value or to a set (high) value?
This game has a great potential, but it has too big flaws! Getting a decent amount of money is impossible becouse those "economic skills" the instructions mention cannot be found. I once got 3 chicken from a random event, but never got a chance buying any. (I also have no clues what are those "little sisters" and how to get them.)
Getting a decent weapon is also impossible: every gun has some very serious disadventage: the are either VERY slow, or VERY inaccurate with HUGE kickback, and awfully slow reload!
Only the crossbow and the shotgun are half decent but they also are painfully slow.
Getting the desired weapon is nearly impossible too: even if you check the less randomness mods, both the dropped guns and the ones at the shop are either boo bad or need too high skill level and you need to be extremly lucky to get the gun you need.
F.ck this game! There are many annoying levels, but the 17th is just f.ckin insane!!!!
How the f.ck should I light all those f.ckin balls when they keep colloiding all time an when they hit eachotehr they turn grey again?!!! Fu.k your stupid game, I rather take a bath in a tube filled with skatol and cikolhexene than play with this sh.t again!!!
This would be a fun game, but there is something that ruins it totally: when defeted, wich occurs easily on later levels, there is no continue! Yes, I know that one can click on the continue button, and gets on the same level he died, but when trieing to continue, one gets stripped from all the upgrades, and this equals death on a late levels! So practically there is no continue!
It's very unclear how many points I need for a next level: it writes a goal point, but I often get game over with much higher score than what I theoretically needed.
Also the calculation of points should be better: it should'nt only calculate with the distance but with other factors too! Like an additional score for hitting the right country, becouse it's much easier knowing where the country is than knowing even the cities place in that country. And the scoring should be different on every continent, becouse the difficoulty of every continent is also different. For example Europe is full of small but well known countries, so it's easy to get a perfect or very close strike. In Afrika however there are also lots of countries, but most of them aren't known too much.
Toan133: Actually the coal plants are heat plants, becouse they make energy by boiling water. The geothermal plant does the same, but it boils hot thermal water, wich needs much less energy to boil. But if the geothermal plant needs to burn like the quater of the fuel a normal heat plant burns, that's still not negligable. And yes, if I accept that waste eater intelligent talking mutant zombies roam the post-apocalyptic world, I could also accept if wizards and such would fighting them on the side of the humans. But it seems this game wants to teach some about the energy production, and in that case such mistakes as those I mentioned before are much less acceptable.
I don't understand why the heat plants give the most energy. The nuclear should, since irl it produces about 20 times more power than a thermal plant. Also a geothermal power plant is irl a normal steam plant that boils thermal water, wich costs much less energy than to boil cold water. So it uses resources and produces smog too, just less than a normal plant.
Btw did someone try the last level on hard mode? It's really brutal! If you can miraculusly survive the first night - wich is almost impossible - the rest of the game will be not that hard, if you manage your resources correctly. But you will have HUGE battles, with thousends (not kidding!) of zombies!!!
I like this game in overall, but there are some flaws I'd like to mention:
1st, and most important: it needs a save feature!!! And I don't mean saveing your state in the campaign, but a save in the levels. Becouse in some levels it's pretty easy to fail, and if it happens after I finished with a lot of buldings and maybe survived some nights, than it's a pain in the butt to start everithyng over! Especially if at the start I have to rush with the building, wich is the case in most times.
The other very annoying thing is, that - as I noticed - the mounted zombies tend to start their raids with destroying the energy sources. That is a great strategy, but I must say it's NO F***ING FAIR!!!
How do you beat the last level? Becouse no matter how accurately I stack the small blocks on eachother and how accurately I put the huge block on them, it always starts bouncing and the whole thing falls!
I like this game pretty much. You deserve a bonus point for supporting QWERTZ keyboards too. My only problem is with the achivements: I miss only the perfectionist achivement to get the overachiver, but the perfectionist achivement is impossible!
Becouse level 8, 18, 19, 21 and 3 are impossible to do perfect!
This game is VERY hard! But not becouse the levels, but becouse the awkward controls! The horrible control is what makes it nearly impossible! Meatboy slides instead of stopping after jump, he moves a lot by a slight push of the arrows, so I can't jump small with him, and top of these sometimes he react correctly to my orders, sometimes he just ignores them!
