I'm not sure if it's only on adept mode but on that difficulty the enemies seem to be in some kind of agreement that if they have a choice they rather attack me than eachother even if that's strategically a bad decision! If that's supposed to boost the difficoulty it's a wrong decision becouse like this it's not a more advenced AI but a cheating AI!
Money comes very slowly and repairs are waay too expensive. New guns become too weak after a few waves and if the next upgrade is very expensive you will find youself being unable to store up money becouse everything goes away to repairs!
Also keyes work only when they feel like, many times I keep pressing 'Space' or 'H' and nothing happens, even though I have missiles and cash.
Those platforms really should be longer when you run faster! I keep jumpig trough them and then falling into the next gap! I wish I could downgrade my jump. A jump skill any higher than 2 does more bad than good!
I think it's impossible to save everyone in the cemetery: each tombstone-labirinth depletes a very high amount of health and ammo, so even if you manag to get trogh both - wich is unlikely - by then you probabely used up all the power ups so you will die ahains the final swarm. It's becouse you can't fit your bus properly: to protect yourself properly you need saws on the sides, but that makes you get stuck everywhwere so you can't use them - thus you are vuknerable.
Well, you have big-ass saws wich can cut trough any zomby like butter, and THEY make you get stuck by some tree! Same with the heavy bumpers: when you get all upgrades they are like the bumpers of a train and you can run over the zombies without speed loss, yet becouse of THEM will you get stuck betwean tombstones! And they don't make easier pushing away cars either.
The problem with this game is that it expects you to beat the computer in multitasking! Becouse these buzzbots are totally dumb (and their intelligece doesn't develop) and they will idle if I don't tell them to do something.
If you could control the bots with WASD or arrows this game would be "Hover bot arena" instead of "Bot arena"! This game is more about building your bots and not really about controlling them. On regular mode controlling is a totally unnecessery feature, you can easyly win without it.
I agree with the others that the AI is not very good. But that's not a big problem becouse the enemys AI is just as stupid as yours. It's only problematic on challenge mode, but hey, that's why it's called challenge!
I enjoyed this game. But it was mostly becouse of the story and not becouse of the gameplay and the puzzles. The story is really good but the puzzles are kinda monotone. Basically you just search for things all the time. It would be better if you needed to figure some things yourself and if there were more different puzzles.
Screw this game! I got stuck right at the beginning becouse the escorting planes were totally unhelpful! The enemy planes come, they decide to engage but do nothing, just keep going in the opposite direction and fly in circles. Do they except me to attack the enemy alone? But when I do that, they talk such nonsenses like they got my wings, when they are in fact at the opposite side of the game area! And I can't shoot down 2 or 3 enemy planes at once.
4. A deconstruct button would be nice too, so I wouldn't have to abandon the undiseired structure and then recollect the rescourses, I could just transfer rerescourses instead.
5. It would be ultimately good if I'd be able to use a survivor as a bait, to order him to lure the zombies in front of my guns or away from weak spots! Now I always have to constuct new guns as I push forward and I get full of leftower gun posts!
I really like this game, but I have some problems with it too. 1. The survivors are very stupid: many times they make huge roundabouts, and when they should flee they just stand ther clueless! Sometimes they even disobey: they should build, transfer goods or men the gun towers, they have plenty of rescourses and clear path but they still just sit inside the depots and do nothing. I got overrun becouse of this many times! 2. It's stupid that a structure needs some work to disappear even after all matter have been removed from it (or when it didn't even had any to start with. It's especially bad when I want to deconstruct barricades to free the path: i takes extra time, when every second counts! 3. There should be a cancel option for building! As it is now, if I accidently place something to a bad location I have to abandon it and then clear the rubble even thogh to building haven't even started yet!
The avoider minigames are totally different on the walktrough videos! And not only the stage is different but they also seem to lack the extra difficulty: the very strong force that pulls the mouse to the walls!
Also the Sony can go and f*ck themselves for blocking the 2nd bonus video on youtube!
Solving the cases is very simple, and there aren't really dangers in collecting the cues either, the only thing that forces you to think is the time limit, but if you don't care about the achivements, you can actually solve the cases by just clicking around randomly. It's basically a reverse minesweeper, where you have to click on the "mines" instead of avoiding them. But like this there is no penality for clicking wong other than time loss. The game is still quite enjoyable, but could use some more challenge.
Screw this game, whenever I join there comes some lvl 600 a*hole with a huge as* gun larger than himself and pwnz everyone with one shot while he is virtually invulnerable! Like this if you are new you can't even get started, you have no chance! Newbies and high level players newer should be put together, it's not good to anyone.
