@ szusalachka I got to a 33 combo in math without using a calculator, then got 33*47 and used it all the way to 100+ after that. Sometimes it gives you a lot of easy ones, but ultimately you're right and it does depend on how fast you can input it into your calculator and get back. However, like the target range, you can also slow this minigame down, :) good luck.
@ raremoon You have to sell 5000 burgers, although the last fastfood quest is only 2500.
@mab2nerd you don't have to play it right now if you don't want to, wait a fem months and then come back and judge it.
Hey saybox, I just read your comment that you actually read all the comments (wow) so if you're not too busy to respond, what do you think about upgrading the mediation garden.
You could buy more flowers to increase your multiplier, this would be a basic 5x xp instead of 4x with a max of 12. Of course this would be expensive and maybe require higher levels to get to, right now nothing's after 70 except for quests and achievments.
If you don't like the more flowers, then how about better flowers, they could be the same art as the ones used for the house, once again limit the upgrades and probably with level requirements again. levels I'm thinking are 75, 85, and 95. this would help fill in the gap from 70-100
For now, the meditation garden won't be getting any extra upgrade options, because we'd rather add more new stuff. It's a good idea, though, we might add it eventually.
@ lafresnaye That's why your supposed to back up your files. This game as well as others of the sort have a tendency to erase save files. try to find a post about how to save, the one that I'm using is from (http://www.kongregate.com/forums/3-general-gaming/topics/213198-pingy-the-ping-idle-rpg-hints-n-tips?page=2) it's a few post down, but defiantly worth a look.
@elsidor5
lol, you tried to lose your money and ended up with a 650% gain?! poor thing. Just keep your money because if they add a use for it later on you'll be sorry you threw it all away.
@jaaset
If you post again asking for an opinion about your idea, I think you should repost it so that they don't have tot go looking for it.
About your idea though, maybe expand a little, for example, maybe start out with 1xp per block hit, but each time it hits the paddle, it's increase by one. Every time you complete a... picture(?) you get some bonus points. There could be a hat for a huge combo and the achievement could be called blockhead. It's not that bad of an idea, but I don't really see how it can get hard very fast like the other minigames. good luck though.
@weeman:
The easiest way would be to have a computer intense program or programs running in the background, so that you computer gets slowed down. This makes the target appear and disappear much, much slower making the 50 and 100 combos not that hard. (I don't think that method works too well with whack a seal though because it seems one always goes back the moments it pops its head out.)
Some things I would like to see in this game
1: as many have said, add some sounds, water sounds for fishing/whale farm, cha-ching when you collect interest or buy something, some sort of you won sound from the casino, many sounds wouldn't be too hard for this game and you of course would have to make a mute button.
2: house upgrade that affects background, and maybe add a yard. It would start as a pile of snow, get a little bigger with some detail, then an actual igloo. your yard could include things like a fence, pet and pet house, and new locations.
3:simple updates, auto cooker cooks burgers when ever you have at least 5 snails when on, burger ping saves an order at the top and any more that come push it off, (and upgrades to hold more than 1 order) and something to do at the swimming pool after the ping is freed, such as chip away the ice so you can swim in it.
These are all things I would like to see added to this game, anyone can post their thoughts.
@tempalt It's possible you just have to have other windows running with graphic intense programs so that it slows it down. This will slow everything in the game down, mind you, but when trying to get the 50 and 100 target combo (yes there is a 100 combo quest) this becomes invaluable. Others have suggested having gemcraft labryth running at the same time, so you can try that. hint to advanced players, doing this gives you great experience if you keep the combo going, at 100 you get over 2k exp every hit.
tips for new players: 1, buy fihing spot, bank and market asap, these will help your income as well as your experience so you can level up faster and make some money. 2, completely invest in whale farm, it'll be 3000 to get the other 3 pools, but being able to turn your goldfish into whales easily pays for itself. 3, buy the house upgrades once you can, they make you get more exp and money every time your fastbar fills up. 4, Make sure you have all possible hats you can for your level, look up a guide for achievements, read the hints, do whatever you can because the more hats, the faster the bar fills. 5, don't spend your money right away, the bank gives 2% of what's in it, this may not sound like a lot, but it adds up, then it adds up, then it adds up until you won't know what to do with all your money (like me). then you can buy whatever you like at your leisure, or spend buy everything at once. 6, Remember this is an IDLE game, it requires a lot of patience to play.
it seems that the two best things for getting people out is the mirror with the lightning spook, and the hanging dishes when the hands come out, everything else seems to scare people in a random direction.
Why was vheil's comment disliked? He was warning future players that there's a problem with Ice Plateau. If you try idleing there you'll end up finding yourself in the hometown after a few minutes. I know it won't/can't be fixed... but it's worth us knowing about it.
I was never able to buy any more upgrade past a certain point, after reading ROAero's post I avoided going over them until I upgraded, but I still wasn't able to buy them after the same point in time. I think this is a glitch and future players would appreciate it being fixed.
@abyssoft I don't know about the quick follow jump thing, but with the snail king you have to hit som... rods(?) that are sticking out of the ground on the top left and right sides, then you can damage snailking. think outside the box sometimes and you shouldn't be caught offguard like that too often.
good game blah blah blah, but you ended it like that? you need to make a sequel because (content hidden because of spoilers). also, in chapter 7 you get an xray scope which helps so much in finding secrets, in fact I beat the game with only five hearts because I was too lazy to look
