I would love to see this as an action game were the mouse controls the placement of the sword. While I really enjoyed the game for my first 10 minutes of playing, the turn based play took joy out of it for me. Great game though.
I tried it and wasn't a big fan. I gave it a 3/5 for the humor and upgrade system, but nothing was gripping enough to keep me around... Not even running over pigs ;p
Constructive criticism: There is no great place for the rules. Learning them is annoying (such as having to wait till after balls are removed before shooting again). Waiting till after balls are removed slows down the game. The cursor line to show bounces appears randomly, but not all the time. Unable to understand why (as there are no rules to indicate this). There is no colorblind mode from what I can tell. Would be better if there were multiple levels with different goals or objectives rather than the same thing. Played it only for the badge.
I loved the originality, puzzles, and music. The slow game-play was a major turn-off though. Even if the theme of this game is patience, I feel that it should be represented in a more entertaining way.
Don't judge this book by it's cover. I almost closed the game until I saw how valued the top comments rated it. It is well worth getting caught up in the story and philosophy of this game.
Please make the pig stop oinking and the worm stop squealing! :) Great game otherwise. Perfect once more description is added about what each upgrade does.
You can beat every level an any difficulty in less than 3 minutes with the same strategy. The trick is based on the gold bonus you get from sending the next wave early combined with juggling.
The level is too repetitive. I feel there should be way-points to help you travel. Also, I feel that additional upgrades such as different weapons and game-style will go a long way towards making this a better game. 3/5 in its current state. 5/5 with a few additions and minor adjustments
5/5. Finally a puzzle game that was not only fun and fluid but also made you think a little :) Would love to see a remake with many more levels (and even harder levels)
I would like to see more ways to play: Have the option to ram into ships instead of shoot them to kill all those in a level (including upgrades that promote such behavior), more viable weapons throughout the game (instead of each more expensive weapon being a big upgrade). Keep it up, love the series!
Thanks for your feedback. Anything we could bring into the game that would make you want to play again?
