Great idea for a game. I look forward to a follow up with more levels, more intricate upgrade system (multi-upgrade ships), more upgrades, more types of defences (non-moving turrents, a weapon controlled by the main ship that can be fired seperate). Use variety to make the game addicting. Also, have an expansive selection of enemies and achievements to up the game's popularity.
Samdc, the title of the level 5 is "sticky keys". This is enabled by pressing shift 5 times. Alot of gamers find this out when they are spamming buttons while playing a game. It's the same as the 2.1 level. Anyone who didn't play mario has no clue what to do xD
The strategy to complete every level is simple: mass your pixels in a corner so that they push attackers far back enough that they do not attack your main pixel, and that your defenders hit attackers from multiple sides. In most cases, computers are so busy fighting each other that you mass up a ton of troops. Now just send your troops to take out the main cell of each enemy on two sides of it. You win. In the level with obstacles, just follow this strategy while avoiding the obstacles. If something is about to die from an obstacle, use it to block the computer in the obstacle, or suicide it to take out enemy troops since it's going down anyway.
To beat level 13: Place 4 speed towers, upgraded to fire and range (3 of the 4 will be set up at the start. place them so they in the middle so they hit creeps in two separate areas). Then, place one ranged tower upgraded ONLY to frost (low mid or high mid, it is simply there to slow the last 2 bosses). Finally, place one final speed tower upgraded to fire and range (Toward the top, and have it upgraded before the boss is near). If the final boss out-ranges any towers (out-ranges both sections the tower can fire on) then sell it and place an upgraded speed tower near a path that the boss is about to walk to.
Cool boomerang trick: Fling one boomerang at an enemy, then run away to another enemy and fling one boomerang. Keep running away from the incoming boomerang until you have 4 or 5 following you. Now switch to any other weapon (preferably the "halbeard") and you're a devastating killing machine!
When I sad down to play this, I spent the next 6 hours having a blast. I liked it so much, I'm back the next day to play more. I hope to see a sequel with more tower and upgrade options. Keep up the good work!
MisterGrey, to kill yourself in 10 seconds, start any game, and don't shoot anything. Just simply ram into enemies 5 times until you die. Do this quicker than 10 seconds and you will get the badge. It is very simple. Just sit on an enemy even in-between hits when you become invulnerable to ensure you complete it in less than 10 seconds.
29,161 points in survival. Lasted like 20 minutes (and this was my first serious try at surviving in survival). I think after about 3 minutes the FPS shot way down and the game actually got VERY easy. The explosion upgrade (yellow power-up) made the game harder because they increased my FPS which increased the speed of the game. Ironic.
Adding a currency and purchasable upgrades along with an assortment of weapons and possibly even different playable creatures would take this game far.
If you click on the elevators while the game is paused, it may bug it and cause the guns in certain elevators to not work. so avoid clicking objects while the pause button is pressed.
