There was a swirling mass of water that lived in a quiet pond. It asked permission from it's master to visit the lands beyond, and it's allowed it to fly! So the wind swept the whirlpool across the sky. Whiiiiiirl Pooool... Whiiiiiiiirl Pooooooool...
I'm normally not a fan of this genre, but this was an exception... for a little while. Most of the unique things that made it interesting quickly became annoying. The cards for instance. I don't think you should get cards with the bottom tier resources. I really liked the resource system, at first. Didn't take long for me to realize that you can't make dirt (Is it dirt? Gravel?) from fuel (Water?), but you can make dirt from fuel. So, always searching for dirt. The quests were repetitive. 2 hoop challenges, 3 cards, 3 hoop challenges, 5 cards... It would've been better if you could complete all the quests from the get go, even if you only actually showed the top 3. On the other hand, I may be griping about the quests because one of my quest slots is stuck. I cannot boost. No idea why not. Tried both shifts, independently and together; I even tried most of the buttons on my keyboard. Still no joy. :/
God, this was... AWESOME! Great concept, great gameplay. I loved the beginning. I will play every sequel to this game. Hell, I want to see the television show! Adult Swim will totally go for it.
This game has shown me something, something I think I always knew deep down: Regardless of the situation, an endless supply of guided missiles is the surest path to success.
The 2nd car should unlock for free/reduced price if I get 1st place finishes on all the races beforehand. Got to go back and earn some $ just to proceed...
God, this is GARBAGE! It's even worse than Tyrant. It lags, it crashes. Ok, fine it's a beta. Then don't ask for money to unlock stuff. Either it's a full game we should pay for, or it's a beta. Not both. The lag, the crashes, and the expectation that I will pay to playtest your game aren't even my biggest gripe. Where's the strategy!? I pick cards, and then what? Watch cards fight each other? If I have no control over the battle, you could at least have made it a cool animation. Even letting me pick which slot I played the cards to would improve this game immensely. Anything! WHERE IS THE STRATEGY!?
