"Movement sticking in dungeons? It’s not my fault! Please check this thread for a solution: http://www.kongregate.com/forums/7-technical-support/topics/67250-fix-for-keys-sticking-in-games-in-internet-explorer"
Hey Undefined, I don't use IE and movement still sucks on the dungeons. Quit dodging yer responsibilities! And didn't you promise a high-content update like weeks ago?
Where's that high-end content update you promised us, Undefined? Hey, and where are those other badges, Kong?
Yeah, this game isn't worth the frustration.
You make the same mistakes with every game. quit uploading so often and start listening to player comments! You make the same mistakes in this game that you did in Frontline Defense 2!
not bad. Didn't play until the pants option though. the lack of spelling errors increasingly common to these type of games is something of a novelty, thanks for that.
protip: The game is currently broken on a number of issues (armor rating and combat skill mastery being just two), so don't kill yourself trying for some of the more difficult achievements. Undefined will probably add updates to compensate for these technical issues, and if not, there are better games.
has no replay value. Seriously, you can get more than half the achievements in the regular campaign anyway--if you care enough about the yet-to-be-made second chapter--and whether you play on the side of angels or demons the final ending, and the general gameplay, is the same. so why bother? It's not like the MPP series where you can make different choices. Undefined needs to go back to the drawing board and find a new idea.
Everybody says this game is so easy, but i'd like to point out that if you DON'T spend all your money on the investor option and use the creds to buy a larger variety of towers, then it becomes next to impossible to beat level 12. So now i'm thinking the only way to beat the level is to go back and spend all my money on the investor option...but that would effectively ruin the game by making it too easy. so the balance is screwed up.
This is what undefined said on Dec 21:
"Quick note on the RNG: If it seems streaky it really is bad/good luck. It's a very simple random number between 1 and 100. reset each time and not pattern forming, my tests and checks all confirm that it's entirely random and the percentages shown are the real chance."
So he isn't changing the hit chance, so people can quit complaining about it because he thinks it works just fine. I rate the game 3/5 for no fix of the 'entirely random' RNG.
For people complaining about defense quests being too random: The mage attack is the best way of doing defense quests (straight line 3 down). So if you want the achievement, do the game as a mage, OR turn all your barracks soldiers into mages. problem with the second way is that your soldiers aren't much better than meatshields--even trained and outfitted, they rarely have enough power to one-hit-kill. They're better for using as obstacles to prevent enemies from reaching the finish until your main guy can get around to killing them. beat all the tiers this way (as a mage)
Not bad. gets boring fast, but all these toss-the-turtle games do. it's good for its genre, and the spelling errors are bad but i see them in kong games all the time...you just get used to it.
"Did anyone else notice the swastika carpeting on that one level or is it just me...?"
YES we all saw the swastika symbol. THANK YOU for being so observant! Now STFU already!
gex87: In your country it might be illegal to put up a swastika symbol anywhere in public, but we're not in Germany so quit yer bitchin'.
Anyway as other people have said there are a hundred other uses for the swastika besides nazism. it figures into the Occult, for one thing, which is probably why undefined used it.
Too many little problems make this game not fun to play. food earned in the dungeons doesn't affect health. heavy/regular/light attacks make very little difference. plenty of comments about the skewed chance-to-hit and how slow the game moves--also an auto hit button would be useful so we didn't have to keep pressing the button. a lot of the stuff in this game keeps mentioning the big payoff in future games in the series--hey undefined, why don't you spend a bit more time trying to improve THIS game rather than promising great stuff later?
