good concept, but the mechanics need work. Work on a better feedback system so you can tell if you are hitting. The blood haze is a nice idea, but ultimately very irritating.
This game is terrible- not because of the bad art and poor mechanics, but because there is no goal. And it isn't inherently interesting enough to be a sandbox game. Add 7-8 more variables, then call it a game.
the keyboard controls seems very mushy for me, sometimes lagging drastically behind what I am entering- even on do-nothing screens like "push enter to continue."
I like this better than achilles. More progression like this would be better. The actual mechanics get kind of boring after a while. A way to select which attacks to use would make buying them worth more.
also, there should be a way to remove weapons and grenades from people.
Make medics smarter, so they don't run back and forth, especially if you have several.
pausing while a tank attacks will let it merrily continue to blow your guys away.
need to have a way to mute it.
clearer indications of what is safe in a trench of bunker.
I agree with the comments about the text. It is too small and too dense.
Mission 8 is silly, as it is easier than the training mission.
More puzzles like in the last missions would be better.
It is a well thought-out system of mechanics, but the actual GAME part is fairly boring, since you have little control of what happens.
-needs to go faster
-need more control of the disease
-multiplayer might add some strategy. You can have multiple diseases infecting people, and the symptoms could help some, and harm some. Like malaria vs. syphilis.
an engaging storyline, developed solely in the end of the game. I would like to see another game done like this, with the storyline fleshed out through the entire play period.
If you play poorly, on a poor level, you can get stuck with no nodes to grab. This means you will just be stuck, with no way to fix it. If there was a secondary way to move, this would avoid that.
Good concept, but once you figure it out, there isn't much strategy to it.
Multiplayer would be nice, but unless the mechanics are changed it would just turn into a clickfest.
Perhaps some sort of "terrain" equivalents or a Rock-paper-scissor system would add some tactics back to it
Instead of cycling through random choices endlessly, perhaps you could select from a group of two or three. It would cut down on the clicking.
More choice when leveling would be good too.
