Not much to do, but I understand it's a start. Also, it's working on chrome for me. I hope it will get better, though it's not that hard to beat in its current state... :P
I have to say, admitting that a game totally flopped is one big thing. And it's another huge thing to build from that mistake, and turn that into an update of a now even-more-awesome-than-before game. Now that you seem comitted to TD, and that you furthermore look like you have big projects for this game, I feel we're witnessing the birth of a legendary game and an equally legendary developer. Keep up your awesome work, and in my name and in the name of all the others who loved and still love to rediscover TD 2.0, thank you.
Creeperminer659 stop complaining about cargo drops. You'll get more and more cargo, and trust me, you'll unlock everything pretty fast. I had found every weapon and feature before reaching sector 2000, and since the game goes to 100000... you'll get everything soon.
It would be nice if the tutorial windows had an "x" button instead of disappearing when clicking. I missed so many info because I was clicking like crazy. Or an help page to see them all again.
Idea: first of all allow to lock numbers that you're sure they're NOT in the solution. Then, you could color-code everything: yellow for unsure unpressed, green for sure unpressed, red for unsure pressed and black for sure pressed. That would be easier on big levels.
The game HAS to have instructions, because right now, there are none. I know that guesswork might be cool, but not for a game like this. Add instructions and clarifications please.
Really boring, nothing to do, upgrades do not have any balance whatsoever and there are only two. Plus, there is no real goal, no prestige to motivate a player to continue, and the score isn't even displayed on the screen. Overall, I wouldn't even give one star out of five.
I really want to release a WebGl version by the end of this week! I know a lot of people won't play unless I do that! There are a few things that I'm still trying to understand why they won't work on WebGl :S
I don't know if it already does that, but... I think that elemental resistances should all apply to white enemies. I mean, easy mode wave 8500, I have my absolute fire resistance at e119, and my absolute defense at e69. That kinda defeats the purpose of having the purification ultimate.
Would be nice to know: how does the prestige percentage work? Do they add up between runs? And if so, could we get a counter to know how many percents we accumulated?
Some precisions needed: If bosses are immune to knockback, are they immune to the air effect entirely? Because Cutting Winds would not work, and I just don't know. Also, can a shot have multiple elemental effects? If not, which effect(s) has (have) precedence over the others?
Hi,
(1.) Yes, bosses are entirely immune to the air effect so cutting winds does not work on them. Nova still causes damage on them since nova is split up into two separate effects: Damage + Knockback (only the knockback part is being ignored).
(2.) A single shot can have all of the elemental effects at once.
I will extend the information building in the future and add more detailed information to all mechanics.
Ah, so all is not lost. Thanks for the info though! and yes! it will get better! v0.0.5 is rolling out now!
