Actually gems are going to have a more universal use later on. Once the factory is ready it's going to produce resources even while being offline. Each building is going to have a unique currency. The brown cubes are the basic ones which can be converted. Gems are going to give you a special bonus in each building. (For example the gems are going to allow you to speed up the resource production in the factory.)
You know what would be fun? Different colors for the HP bars. Like, blue for your party and red for enemies, so that you know if a low HP is good or not for that character. Also, it would be easier to track your character in big fights.
Nice game, but the fact that the game has to be in the tab in focus to progress really bugs me. I wouldn't mind waiting for months to pass if I could do something else than watching that bar fill up.
This was actually a build bug in the HTML5 version. It should progress normally when tabbed out now. It also progresses when the game is closed, so remember, you can always go do something else and come back later, and all your progress will calculate for the time you had the game closed.
@TripsTitan I think it means that the jack in the box ability will give off more free level ups per activation. That's just me though, haven't tested it.
It's too short. Definetely needs AT THE VERY LEAST a x10 buy button, because "late-game" (like 10 minutes after you start, because you reached SR) it gets too long to buy employees. Again, waaay too short, because when the SR is reached you just need to fill the bar 50 times to get another SR level, and then the employees get waaay too slow. Needs something more.
Don't know if it's a bug or not, but it's impossible for me to buy Exchanges when I have just the right amount of coins for them. I always need to earn one more before I can buy it. (It still lights up as "buyable", but it won't buy it when I click) Nice game though!

Do the spent cubes (on artifacts) still give the DPS bonus? Because I got 10, spent 7, and it's still written that I'm getting a 2x DPS boost. Is it wrong or not?
There's a need for a confirmation button when you "leave town", that's basically a soft reset for those that didn't know. It's not that clear also, I think you should explain it, and what are the benefits of leaving town.

Could the numbers in the stats screen be condensed too? There are too many and since each line isn't equal it's hard to compare. Or at least try to have the numbers to start at the same point so that they're aligned.
