-Save tower placement per map
-2x speed for gold (+perma/longer lasting)
-skills only used on targeted mob
-more variety of abilities (effectively just slows or +damage)
possibly the worst UI I have ever seen.... the game could've been interesting, but when I spend more time trying to manage bad design choices, it becomes very annoying.
-auto stack
-more colour variety 'early' on (like surely I don't have to wait 2 weeks to see more than blue and green)
-greater distinction between each tier (the colour difference is FAR too subtle most of the time, I shouldn't have to read the tier number)
-upgrades tailored toward prestige/idle growth/speed (takes too long after reset)
"Selling" an item doesn't feel like it rewards the player, separate currencies could fix this issue (i.e. hearts instead of gold to revive faster, mana from items and kills to buy stuff in the shop). Some tooltips on hover or a help page would be nice too, since nothing is really explained in game (element type/advantage etc). The card tiers don't update the mana reward either. On the topic of mana, it needs another use aside from enhancement as it requires very small amounts to insert gems (could be used to 'upgrade' the stats of items). Anyway, I hope you continue work on this game as I think it could be really enjoyable with some tweaks!
Mana is used to summon monsters. Failing to beat a powerful/expensive monster will not return the summon cost. There is a second currency - gold, but that is currenrly only used to revive. The gold shop will be added soon :) I can add some more hint messages and an elemental chart somewhere. Thanks for the feedback!
Incredible potential in this game, which I understand is only in early alpha, held back by the copious amounts of bugs and poor visuals/UI. Namely: character stops attacking, enhancing should be instant without the white visual 'pop' becoming increasingly larger overtime (bug), scaling of monster level/exp etc feels extremely off (I'm level ~150 yet can 1 shot level 4k mobs). Auto-sell by min level would also be nice. The 'not in focus' mechanic seems ridiculously counter intuitive for an idle game and doesn't even seem to function as intended (please just remove it).
I just want to reiterate what many have said before me; this dev is amazing. I've been playing this game for around a week and the pace at which updates occur is quite frankly scary, albeit awesome. I wish AAA titles had this much love put into them! I'm keen to see how much this game grows :P
Fixed in 1.0.5! The refining screen now uses a proper font.
