It's... OK. Obviously inspired by Sid Meier's Pirates game, which is no bad thing. But the limited size of the board hurts it rather badly, as does the repetitive style of play. Create a much larger scrolling play map with obstacles (islands and reefs), and real sailing characteristics and I think you'd have a great game here. For now, 3/5.
The sad thing is that there's definitely a better game hiding in here. With the number of blobs you're throwing at a player, he needs more defensive options. Blocking should work on white blobs too, for instance.
Picks up all the bad qualities of Luminara and Shield Defense without really adding anything new or original. Still, better than many center-shooters. 3/5.
Tried it when it was new, and gave it 2 stars. Now that it has badges and a card, I tried it again... and changed my rating to 1 star. This is a very poor game that simply relies on luck and good memory to remember the right pattern to weave your way through the mazes.
It's a pity that level 15 is just luck. It's the only flaw in an otherwise excellent, original game. Smacks of someone who ran out of ideas, honestly. -1 for that, so 4/5.
Sjarkie, you're either photoshopping or cheating somehow. Your ring configurations would get you killed. You routinely have mis-matched symbols or colors, and yet the game says you won the level? Yeah, right.
MightyEpson is right. On several levels, there is not a single pixel's margin for error. A single pixel to the right or left, and you lose the level. That's a tiny bit much. It also ramps up in difficulty far too rapidly.
Yep, at least 80% luck. The 20% skill is in trying to catch the small and spike power-ups. But now that I have the badge, I have no interest in ever playing this game again, LOL. 2/5.
Agreement with some of the others with regard to giving players more control of the bots. Also, it'd be fun if some of the chassis were faster than others. Still, 5/5. Very clever and fun.
Agreed with the other comments. Lag is a MAJOR problem. Also seems to not let you want to buy upgrades past a certain point. If you're gonna set an arbitrary limit on the number of upgrades, tell the player how many they have left. And yeah, a few boss shapes would also be good.
