The idea is great. The execution is incredibly poor. Pac-Man ghosts are much smarter than these ghosts are when you're not directly controlling them, and the fact that if you lose a ghost, you lose him forever -- even into future levels! -- is just stupid. 1/5 +1 for a great concept = 2/5.

Very laggy, particularly at the higher levels, but well designed and with a good rule set. Graphics are basic but get the job done. Sound is really good. The fact that the opponent gets to start out with so many towers at the higher levels makes for long, boring starts on those levels. But overall, a great game! 4/5. 5/5 if you can solve the lag issue.

It's a cute idea, but the controls are awful and the fact that you can't change the controls just means that you can't play this game without a PC game controller of some kind. I'll be back when I own one. In the meantime, 3/5.

Weird and original! A simple concept, deceivingly so... very nice work! 4/5.

Goofy, ridiculous, silly, weird... and incredibly fun and original. Bravo! 5/5.

Wow. I didn't even notice the mini-game at first. It is better than the main game, heh. 4/5 at least for the mini-game. How about making a full version of that?

It's not a bad game, per se, but it's not a particularly great one, either. It seems to be missing something, though I can't put my finger on what, exactly. Maybe it's the fact that there doesn't seem to be a goal, other than to survive for as long as possible. That's good enough for a dodge game, but not good enough for a breakout game. 3/5.

I'm not a big fan of point-and-click puzzlers, but the art on this one is fantastic and I can't deny that the puzzles in this one make a lot of sense. Well done. 4/5.

Cute, clever, and interesting! Just the right length, fun to play, not too easy or too hard. It's a winner! 4/5.

The more I think about this one, the more I think my initial comments were overly harsh. This isn't a bad game, and it's certainly more original than most on Kongregate. Just because it's more luck-based than I'd like doesn't mean that it isn't a good game. 2/5 -> 4/5.

Oh, and randomly selecting the orientation for each puzzle as the level starts is a masterstroke. Should have an interesting effect on the walk-throughs. ;-)

An excellent game, better than version 1. The new interface changes, particularly making Ctrl available to clear squares, are great, and the background is fun. I could do without the semi-mystical mumbo-jumbo text, but I suppose it adds to the atmosphere. A very tough, challenging game, but very beatable if you apply logic, skill, and persistence to it. Well done! 5/5.

I'm missing the "game" part of this. Seems to be more of a technology demonstrator. But it's a really GOOD technology demonstrator, clever as hell. 4/5.

Just the sort of game for people who are -- ironically -- good at fighters. Rewards the same kind of super-charged combo creations. The average player isn't likely to give this one the time needed to learn how to put all those combos together. 3/5.

A clever rip-off of the various MarioWorld Nintendo games, which is no bad thing. Is a little bit too easy, but has enough clever bits and "oh hell" moments (particularly in the fourth floor mine levels) to challenge most gamers. And happily, doesn't fall into the trap of hiding things in areas that are TOO hard to reach. Well done overall! Could use a few finishing touches like keyboard remaps, better choices of default keys, and more tuning of the number of coins on each map and the amount of time expected to finish each one. 4/5.

While the set-up is clever and a couple of the ideas are slightly original, in the end, it's just yet another version of Ragdoll Ninja. Exactly how many games like Ragdoll Ninja does Kongregate need? Exactly how many of them really need to have badges? Is this what casual gaming has come to? An endless succession of play-once-then-forget-forever twitch avoid-the-blocks games? 2/5.

Aims at greatness... and misses. There's some great concepts here, mixed with a lot of stuff that just makes the game dull and monotonous. Nobody would be playing this game for hours and hours if they weren't being rewarded here with two relatively easy-to-get 30 point badges. But the graphics and the gameplay itself are both very good, the concept is original enough, and there's definitely skill involved. Now if you just didn't have to play for 16 hours to get Papa Louie unlocked, you'd have something. ;-) 3/5.
