I literally laughed out loud at parts of this...it's hard to accept that it's over. Is it really over? I'm not sure, I mean, maybe if I keep at it for another 20 minutes? Damn it! I sort of hate you a little right now....Good luck in the contest!
Great entry! I've been playing this for quite awhile. It took me awhile to find the shipwreck and get people healed, and I'm not sure if all the digger recruitment option buttons in the diplomacy tab are working properly. I'll check my resources and try again, but I do see some NaN readings, which is often a sign that there's a problem, since there should usually be a number :P Once I got enough logs to build my tent, things started to take off.
The wings did not appear for me again on 10/25. They did before you put in "The end" I think I played on 10/20 or 10/21. I'm on Windows 8.1 using Chrome
Now I don't grow wings and fly away...did CrayonCat lose his vision of the after life and get trapped in a quick, endlessly repeating cycle of reincarnation in which he learns absolutely nothing about fire safety from his last life?
I really enjoyed this game. It was a short, but sweet, Game in Ten Days Entry. I'm so impressed at the games some people not me can make in a short amount of time.
This is an excellent Game in Ten Days entry. It amazes me that people can make games like this in such a short period of time. I really like this art style. I just wish I was better at this type of game so I knew more what the final battle was like!
Its been a long time jo.
I have a new game sitting on my hard drive. Its not quite a sequel, but I guess you could call it a spiritual successor. http://playinverse.com/
It's possible to get confused or frustrated with this game at the beginning. There's a reason you start in a little room. There's a reason you keep coming back to the level select room (tip: avoid the doors without the golden symbols until you've opened all the other doors/done everything else you can do--it functions as a way to reset the level later when you can mess things up.) There's a reason you can't move with the arrow keys (they get used for other commands later).
Give the game a chance and see what it has to offer. It has its rough spots, but the dev. is working on them.
Congratulations on finally getting this game out! I know how long you've been thinking about it. I really enjoyed your use of time and space in these puzzles!
It's really the end.
