I generally don't like these types of games, but this game does have that 1 more time factor going for it. Meant to stop playing half an hour ago. One thing I would like is a way to skip the really slow beginnings. Like if you do hard you start on 200 or something. In the countdown there is more than enough time to be accustomed to 200.
I'm probably going to get downrated for this, but as a long term player I think I should say why this has a high rating. Card Monsters offers a different type of stratigic gameplay to other CCGs. Not being able to choose who to attack with each card means placing the monsters in specific positions is part of the stratigy itself. Another difference in the game is being able to level the cards up themselves. Because of this theres incentive to keep playing to improve your deck. Towards the end of the game levelling cards is not that hard, and with moon crystals (provided ingame) levelling even epics is not that difficult. One reason for the negative comments/high game rating is not many people are getting into the later stages of the game, or they're just badge hunters who are complaining about getting the badges. @dzamie, yes, they don't need the 3d effects, it slows the gameplay down alot.
Thank you for reducing the cost of booster packs, unlockable cards, and crystals. It was my only complaint with this game really. Now my new complaint... flight (im NOT asking for this to change xD, just asking the god of luck to stop trolling me).
Ok, I was one of the many who got to the last boss and died simply because we weren't told we could switch tanks. Which is frustrating. Alot of people complained about this when I checked, but no-one mentioned the button to switch tanks! Its D <-------
Honestly I dont care about the gold in this game. Theres no incentive to get it. Although when one rolls onto my bomb and goes flying at my ship making me think "well i dont mind collecting it if it comes to me", then sinks me, its kind of lame.
The best way to gain crowns for anyone: Tier 1 depth 6-7 arenas give 1.6-2.2k crowns for a full completion, as well as tokens. Have an alt at the start of the arena (known as anchoring) and keep them from logging off due to idleness. You can play with a 2nd client by downloading the spiral knights game from the main site, and you will need a 2nd account. You join your alt, then go solo and invite your friends (or just do the arena solo). Once done and you have you 1.6-2.2k you go up the lift, or leave via the esc button (DO NOT GO DOWN or you cannot rejoin your alt and will need to get your alt to that depth again). If on depth 7 you will need to leave by pressing esc. Join your alt again and repeat. You will easily get enough crowns to buy ce for crowns off the market. + this up because this is pretty much the only way to play continuously when you're new.
