ROOM 1: Look, look at bed, take key, use key on lock, enter box. ROOM 2: Look, read note, use keypad, 1904. ROOM 3: Look, take parts, build computer, hit power button. ROOM 4: Look around, look at keypad, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. ROOM 5: Look (keep doing this until you're given the next task), guess the number by starting at 50,000 and cutting the number in half (following if its too high or low) until you find the correct number. ROOM 6: Look. ROOM 7: Look, look at blood, anger. ROOM 8: Look, leave room. GAME ENDING: HaHAhA hahAHa (or type nothing, up to you lol). Btw, Viricide is an excellent game which has a small tie in with this game as well, if you haven't tried it, go play it NOW (it has a graphical user interface if you don't like the text style of this game ^^). + this
The last level of challenge is absolutely retarded. Not because of difficulty, but simply because you can't even control you pixels at the beggining (well very minor control anyway). They just auto attack everything, and when you have to tell each legion to move individually you find the first legion you moved out of the way (of say.. a bomb >.>) they've moved back in to auto attack. Worst case scenario is when your base does this. I've had it where i've been winning and was about to easily win, the base automatically moved out of the way of the bomb path, onto the arrow paths which trapped it straight in the middle of a bomb. Instant death. This is just ridiculous, at least make it so that you can turn off the auto attack or move all your forces at once otherwise you just end up trying to dodge for the entire level.
The looking back achievement made me smile a bit ^^ "The original plan was to have multiple enemies around the planets that you had to shoot. The game has come along way since then!" It really has ^^ gravitee wars anyone :p, the original plan and it came out awesome ^-^
Some useful links for those of us who like gaining knowledge about what they're doing in an mmo, before they screw up ^^ World Map [containing npc, monster/boss, shop locations]: http://fo-wiki.com/?menu=map You can navigate from there if you want any other information from the wiki database (items, skill descriptions, etc). The official Fantasy Online forums also contain useful information (such as builds and exp tables): http://www.fantasy-mmorpg.com/forums/ Lastly the future updates page: http://www.fantasy-mmorpg.com/forums/general-discussion/906-roadmap.html
quickstarts cool and everything, but when the instructions say take the tutorial and most people dont pay attention to the screens before the game, it can lead to missing the tutorial and not having a clue as to whats going on. Good game though, always enjoy a side scroller =p
Narrator Voice: "Our Hero is facing quite the dilema. Wait a minute?! Whats this!! Our heros walking the wrong way! How will our hero deal with this dilema, how will he chase after the aliens and save Betty from a cruel fate. Will our hero be able to find a wall to help him change his ways and give chase to our poor heroine, or perhaps he'll develop a sense of direction? Find out in our next exciting installment of!!! Aliens kidnapped the wall" Fun game ^^ Could use a 2nd version, perhaps concentrating on some other concept, since this one got a little dull after a while.. maybe make it one big level? Perhaps similar to a canabalt style? I prefer canabalts gameplay to this, but i enjoy the idea of having more to do then just running. A mix would work pretty well. Example: One long level with checkpoints marking where difficulty increases (you can spawn from the checkpoints at the main menu).
I've been playing this game for awhile now, and I was loving it. But once you get to the insane level speedruns it can just be a little ridiculous, it gets to the point where you're pretty much relying on luck. For example, dactyl dodge, it ALWAYS has the tricerotops pit area, but ive had it right at the end while being chased by the doom cloud. Its impossible to not jump, you have to get over them, but dactyls are constantly at the jump height so its impossible to not be hit (and of course you ducking them in the tricerotops area). Personally I love the game concept, but the fact that it becomes luck based (obviously skill is involved, but its not the deciding factor overall) it drops from a 5/5 to 3/5 for me.
Funny when the wind reversed and matched the exact same speed as the threadmill. You know how odd it is to be standing still on a moving threadmill? Also.. wonder how many people won the game =?
@Iconian (i realise hes not going to see this, but if anyone can answer, please do >_<) The level 4 waterfall with the birds doesnt seem to be coming up at all anymore. It hasnt appeared in about 10 runs now. Anyone know whats going on or any other ways of getting birds?
Some of these comments are just pathetic >.> "first!".. enough said about that guy.. the best comment is "fun game" v_v.. and the 2nd best is the only other comment not under the rating threshold but is STILL negative.. Well thats enough ranting ^^ (my comment joins the pathetic comments list ^^). I liked the concept, and it was still fun even if rushed. The music wasn't a bad choice either, made the game feel fast paced. Overall I would say 3/5, since I did like ^^
Survival Mode Tip: Worm blocks are your friend =p DO NOT USE SLOW BLOCKS AT THE TOP. I know they can be good since it gives an extra side that they're slowed on, but in survival mode the longer the bosses are on a stack, the higher the chance of them changing a block into cheese. Make 4 pillars starting from the far left, this'll give you an extra collumn to create blocks if the one closest to your dolls is cheeseified (im sure thats not a word lol). Make sure you have an eye block or 2 around to catch the ghost boss, and the wraith boss is great sometimes since he can destroy your cheese'd blocks allowing you to replace them. Towards the end you'll have enough spare souls that you'll be doing the majority of the damage yourself (from the 20% bonus). With the bonus damage and worms block this can get pretty easy towards the end. Heres an example of what it looks like (though I didn't need the spare collumn on the right): http://i52.tinypic.com/n32k5c.jpg Hope this helped someone

Hard Mode Tip: Get the desert eagle at the beginning (though this isn't necessary) and work your way up to the ak-47, get all the upgrades on it, the grenades first. Then work your way up to the gattling gun, also get all the upgrades. After this do not get the chain saw as it does not have long range and is alot harder to use (+ this way you start on the gattling gun). All your spare money can go into health and ammo. Just stay somewhere safe (like the edge of a level or a lowered area so most enemies shoot over you) and use the gattling gun to kill everything off, you dont even really need to run forward to pick up items, just run forward when theres a large stash so you can top up your money for ammo/health. When you get to clive (last boss) jump at the edge of his lasers range and make sure you can see him getting hit, otherwise he is out of range. When he runs towards you jump past him and repeat from the other side. Continue this until he's dead. You dont have to do this btw =p
If anyones having trouble getting the last badge (100 space stars), I got mine by throwing myself steeply upwards and using short bursts of my engine to conserve as much fuel with the rainbow stars (since space stars are not changed into rainbow stars). Once i get to the required height for space stars to appear i even out with the steering control and try to gain speed, only using my engine to move upwards out of jetstreams (make sure you avoid it by going upwards at a slight angle to pick up speed, and not downwards since you want altitude). Hopefully once you've run out of fuel you'll be fast enough so that you won't descend quickly (or in the worst case, nosedive) and you'll be high enough to pick off the rest of the 100 space stars.
i think you can fly over the glass at the end with the glider, when i escaped i was in the clouds, and the speed reading was only at about halfway, i know ive reached the glass with higher speed before.
