If you're having problems with ghosts coming in from a corner and messing up your playthrough, you should practice on level ID 41: The Shift. If you can 100% that level, you're pretty much good as far as ghosts are concerned. I beat that specific level with 20 towers total, and I bet you could too.
The black bar with white "CENSORED" letters through it is in violation of copyrights held by the RIAA. They need to be censored from this game immediately.
This game is full of so much tl;dr.
Trying to pick through the useless computer code to actually read what's there is infuriating.
I realize that's a part of the game, but about halfway through I just couldn't take it any more.
I broke this game. Idle in the "Results" page until your MP (which should still be growing) reaches 100+. Then, before the start of the next match, hit hotkeys and send your troops across the screen. Make sure to start the match before you win, but other than that you shouldn't have any problems with opponents any more.
JKuang has it right. "Finally got off my butt". I've been looking at this game since it came out, but I haven't gotten the gumption to actually go through with it. Boy am I sorry I waited this long. Finishing the Three-Hit mode felt awesome.
I don't get the bonus organization. Why is "Lucky Beer" in with the 'Upgrades' section, and not in the 'Bonus' section? After all, it's a pick-up like the other bonuses.
That's not acceptable. Invisible or not, bricks are obstacles. If they affect me, they should be affecting everything else. I can understand lasers going through them without incident, because something that doesn't block visible light shouldn't block a laser. But two pieces of matter cannot be in the same place at the same time. Bullets should not be piercing these invisible blocks. Neither should the sawblades. Not while still affecting me.
Oh look. Another Bubble Bobble. A Medium badge to complete 3 levels? Well, that doesn't seem too hard. Oh wait, the third level is terrible.
Twice in a row I have played this game, and twice in a row I have spawned on the second and third level with a ball that quite literally cannot be matched to anything already on the field, forcing me to 'fail' that first shot.
I understand that giving the guidance line 100% of the time would make this game 100% luck-based, as that would remove any semblance of skill from an already skill-light genre of game. However, giving it seemingly at random like this is terrible. This game could have used a lot more work to it. It didn't deserve the badge that it got.
I think that this game could do with a timer for the bounty hunting section. How long you have been alive, you know? I mean, it's kind of frustrating when I already have the award for seven minutes but I'm not sure if I'm within 30 seconds of 10 minutes or if I haven't even gotten back to seven minutes yet. The way the glooples show is a rough estimate, but even that isn't a perfect system... They show up faster or slower even within the same difficulty setting across games.
This game is far too short. And taking away the (relatively) limitless jumping after giving it to the player? That's just a dick move. But... If my main complaint is that the game is too short, that is definitely the sign of a great game. TL;DR 4/5 make more.
Alright. Here's what I want to see. Boss Editor, and Song Uploading. Basically, User Created Levels. I want to rock out to my playlist, and play levels that are more difficult than any that this game currently has to offer. I mean, that's what bullet hells are all about. With that simple addition, this five star game could be worth seven or eight stars. Like, plus imaginary stars. How does that even happen? Make it and find out.
