Eh..not even close to as good as Chapter 4. It's still a good game, but it suffers from what most other PaC's suffer from; randomness, obscurity and confusion. Most things you have to do are very..cryptic and hard to figure out. You beat it, but only after endlessly trying every possible combination of things and getting lucky, instead of using your brain and logic. Like the end, clicking the fire bug 4 times after the sponge rock..then picking the sponge rock back up? You have no real way of knowing that by somehow clicking the firebug 4 times, the sponge rock becomes poisoned. I think when a dev is making the game, all the actions make sense, because he made them up and knows what to do. When playing, it's just cryptic and a lot of luck and frustration. Not great, not terrible. Hope 2 and 3 are better.
I just finished getting all 3 endings in chapter 4, (which is amazing btw). Then I realized I haven't gotten any of the badges for all the other games in the series, so I have 7 badges and 3 games to look forward to tonight.
Just finished all 3 endings...what a great game. The only thing I didn't like, was the 2nd ending. After doing 1 and 3, there was nothing new left to use on the sip so, it took me quite awhile to figure out ending 2. 1 and 3 just take some brain power though, like the rest of the game. Figuring out all the hornets codes made you feel kinda smart, they were brilliantly put together. I also got a sense of accomplishment figuring out all the other puzzles. 6/5 and favorited game. Incredible job. I also just realized I haven't gotten the badges for all the others in the series. I have 7 badges and 3 more of these games to look forward to. Tonight is a good night in my Kongregate career.
This is amazing. I just finished the potion mixing puzzle. It was incredibly fun mixing the different things, seeing what came out, and how to use them all in the right order. So far, this is the best PaC game (tied with Alice is Dead 3) that I've ever played. The humor is fantastic. 5/5
@Evielious, You may not have gotten the 3rd ending. If the other two registered, so should the 3rd. If you're sure you did all 3, send a missing badge report and make sure to include a screenshot of what you've done. They'll get it taken care of it.
I don't think I've ever seen a badge that is so dependent on one specific task on one specific level. It's amazingly hard to not kill any enemies on 6. This badge was one of Greg's (I would assume) more creative tasks for a badge. Good game though.
Why....why doesn't this have badges?! It makes me feel like I just took a blotter or 2 of acid, but it's fun as hell in a simple way. Too bad it won't get badges.
When I first played this like..8 months ago or so, I hated it. Now,I have no idea how I could have. Maybe it's because I've been playing and getting better at TD games and this is even better than them, idk. Either way, it's gone from a hated game, on to my favorites list.
I've played a lot of these spot the differences games, and I think this is the best one. With the Rorschach level, the windmill level and the final one..pretty impressive. Not too difficult, but still good. I think the hardest one was actually the house because it looked like 1 house, not 2 separate ones.4/5.
My time was 3:13:02.5. Not a record, but I think it was pretty quick. Level 10 I have a hard time with or else my time would have been better, but, still made it by 27 seconds. Even though it was a stressful badge because of the timer, I really enjoyed getting the badge. For anyone trying to get it, it's all a matter of memorization. Keep playing through all 30 levels until you can recognize right away from the title what you're supposed to do. Doesn't matter if you do 5 runs that take 15 minutes to complete. Whatever you need to get the levels down so you can do them in your sleep. 5/5 game.
Oh, also. HUGE TIP: You can farm cash and ammo (and health but), on the 2nd boss, the one on the snowmobile. Just keep jumping over him and health, money and ammo will continue to pop out from him. Just keep collecting cash until you have enough to buy the mini gun and plenty of ammo. Then just kill him once you have the desired amount of cash. Makes the rest of the game easier. + this for everyone's good.
This is one of the more intriguing hard badges for me. It's like the Racewalking Champion badge in Katwalk. I just played through all the levels. Now I have to play through them all again 2 or 3 more times until I have everything memorized. Pretty tough badge. It will get me to level 43 if I get it though. Great game btw.
Man...this game went from being something I thought was totally overrated and a horrible game, to one of my favorites. That is impressive. And..I know this makes me sound like I have a vagina but, the ending was sweet.
I used to just really not like this game and I didn't get why it was so popular. So, I came back over 6 months later, tried again, and now I absolutely love it. Idk what changed but, 5/5 game....although I'd enjoy it a whole lot more if it wasn't lagging so bad.

Oooh, I see. I guess all the games for the best of 2011 medal were decided on and they thought this was GOTY material. I was wondering when the next Best Of medal would show up. Wonder what other games made the list. it's really weird to see a hard badge on top of a medium...that's a first. Weird but, ok.
