meteor meltdown, twin peaks and death crater are giving me some trouble on impossible :(
Hopefully once i get the last level of jumping, i wont die on the uphill parts as I am apt to do...
Hmm... I wonder why the hard badge isn't didn't award itself to me once i beat the campaign... Eh, dont see anyone else complaining about the badge, so hopefully it was just my server. (then again, ive beat it twice, and still no badge)
Finally won (I had won before, on an old laptop, but that load only had 169 kills).
I've noticed that if you die at the second boss, he automatically dies and you dont get credit for the kill. DO NOT LET THAT HAPPEN.
Go back and do the second level on again, if you have to...
trick to killing the razor queen: have grenades and reaction suit. The last hit has to be with your sword. The queen takes 5 hits, with the grenades counting as 2 each.
Thus, you can either use a grenade once, and hit her three times, or you can use a grenade twice (which is a bit harder, actually, unless she ranges you too much) and then finish her off with a well timed swing.
Once you have killed her once, though, its a lot easier there on out. Well, the whole game is, actually. The Razor Glaive makes everything but large nests on hardcore seem like a walk in the park. (I earned the Badass award from a medium nest on hardcore, using only the glaive sword, and it was a peice of cake).
So does anyone know how many kills they should have at each level in order to get the right amount at the end? I ended with 168 kills, dying on the last boss, and thus would not have got the badge even if I had managed to beat him.
Finally! 110 out of 110 (now I can finally unlock sprinting, lmao).
My third impossible badge!
(First was that old maze guide game a year ago, second was vector runner (done it twice in the past week))
109/110... ironically, i need to kill the regular queen a few more times (it glitched and counted my slaying as a razor queen for double, but I am not one to complain too much)...
From my experience, and those of everyone else who has commented on how to get the impossible badge, the trick is to play for several hours straight, lol.
Eventually you are going to notice how close you can come to the obsticles, and at what angles, and eventually you wil get lucky (I got 30400 from a green cube and then immediately ran into a mine).
SP3CTRUM, make sure your chat is working properly before you attempt any badge. The fact that the impossible badge is being awarded means that either you hit something and didn't notice, or that the server wasnt properly connected. (It should say in game: ACHEIVEMENT: TUNNEL VISION). Mines do count as hits, by the way.
Basically, the best way to get under 6 minutes is to save the money for the level 3 power up (its worth it on the last boss, so you might want to wait until said boss to buy it, though it is useful for wiping out emps and nukes quickly.
As for the justification for making the repairs more expensive, think about it, you are getting deeper into enemy territory, it would be silly to expect the prices to remain the same (though they should mention that in game).
wow, that was luck... I hit 30400 from a green powerup right before hitting my first obsticle. My second impossible badge (first for this year, lol).
Of course, that was my thirty-somethingth run...
I like how it records how many times you get each achievement in the Kong high scores... now if only I could get the Tunnel Vission, lol (best so far: 21k)
